    • Smacks third home run
Castro went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and two RBI during Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Mariners.

Advice: The 27-year-old hit a solo shot off George Kirby in the second inning to break an 0-for-11 stretch at the plate, and Castro's RBI triple in the fourth gave the Twins some extra insurance, making it a 4-1 ballgame. Castro is now slashing .346/.370/.692 with three RBI and three stolen bases across his last seven games. Rotowire.com 37 minutes ago

    • Allows one hit in seven frames
Cease (5-2) picked up the win Wednesday against the Cubs, allowing one hit and two walks over seven scoreless innings. He struck out 12.

Advice: Cease fell one K shy of his career high in strikeouts and only allowed four total baserunners -- an infield single, two walks and a hit-by-pitch -- en route to his fifth win of his last six starts. He's been making a case for the AL Cy Young in his first season with the Padres, earning a 2.19 ERA and a 0.75 WHIP with 60 strikeouts over 49.1 innings pitched. Cease will look to add to his already impressive 2024 resume in a projected home start Tuesday against the Rockies. Rotowire.com Today, 7:57 pm

Advice: Castro snapped an 0-for-11 run, ,extending the Twins lead with a solo homer off George Kirby in the second inning. He drove in a second run with a triple in the fourth. The versatile 27-year-old is hitting a solid .273/.336/.471 with three homers, 18 runs scored, 14 RBI, and five steals across 134 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 7:39 pm

    • Steps in to close out game
McArthur picked up the save Wednesday against the Brewers after a perfect two-thirds of an inning.

Advice: The ball was handed to Tyler Duffey for the ninth, but after Duffey walked two batters and gave up a double to Brice Turang, McArthur was forced to step in and close the door. The save snapped McArthur out of a two-game slump in which he allowed five runs (four earned) and was charged with two blown saves and two losses. McArthur now has eight saves on the season, which is tied for the fourth most in the AL. Rotowire.com Today, 7:28 pm
    • Doubles twice, scores in loss
Carpenter went 2-for-4 with two doubles and a run scored in Wednesday's 5-4, 10-inning loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Carpenter continued his solid play this season, as he's now batting .269 with an .801 OPS. He's collected eight doubles so far but only three home runs across 36 games. After breaking out for 20 long balls last year, Carpenter could dial up the power soon, which would only further enhance his fantasy value. Rotowire.com Today, 7:28 pm

    • Jack Leiter hit for six runs in no-decision
Jack Leiter allowed six runs -- four earned -- with three strikeouts over four innings in a no-decision against the A’s on Wednesday.

Advice: Leiter’s second start of the season didn’t quite go much better than his first. After a clean first inning, Leiter gave up a two-run homer to Shea Langeliers to start the second. A throwing error in the third allowed a third run to score before Langeliers plated a fourth with a groundout. Tyler Soderstrom later took Leiter deep for a two-run homer in the fourth inning. The fourth inning would end it for Leiter, who’s give up 11 earned runs over his first two starts. It’s possible the 24-year-old right-hander will retreats back to Triple-A. • Kevin Ginkel struggles in save chance on Wednesday
Kevin Ginkel struggled in a save chance against the Reds on Wednesday night, giving up a run on two hits and a walk while recording only one out.

Advice: Ginkel came on with a two-run lead to protect, but things got interesting in a hurry as Jake Fraley drew a walk, Jeimer Candelario smacked a one-out single and TJ Friedl tacked on an RBI single. That caused manager Torey Lovullo to have a quick hook, getting Joe Mantiply to come out and finish the job. With Paul Sewald back, Ginkel wasn’t going to hold down the closer’s gig any longer, but if he did still have any leash in the role, it may have evaporated on Wednesday. Rotoworld Today, 6:38 pm
    • Another start in center
Castro is starting in center field and batting seventh for Wednesday's game against the Mariners.

Advice: It's the 21st staight start for Castro, who has also been in the lineup at shortstop, third base and in left field during that stretch. Third base and center field will likely be Castro's primary homes for the foreseeable future while Royce Lewis (quadricep) and Byron Buxton (knee) remain on the injured list. • Dylan Cease hurls 12-strikeout gem versus Cubs
Dylan Cease recorded a season-high 12 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Wednesday in a win over the Cubs.

Advice: Cease was simply magnificent during Wednesday afternoon’s matinee at Wrigley Field, inducing a surreal 24 swinging strikes, including 12 on his slider alone, and finished with an elite 39 percent CSW. He limited Chicago’s formidable offense to just three baserunners, one hit and a pair of walks, over seven nearly-flawless frames. His 12 strikeouts were just one shy of his previous career-high mark set back on June 26, 2022. The 28-year-old fantasy ace has been outstanding in his San Diego debut, allowing two earned runs or fewer in seven of his eight starts. He’ll bring a stellar 2.19 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 60/16 K/BB ratio across 49 1/3 innings (eight starts) into a tasty home matchup on Tuesday against the Rockies at Petco Park. Rotoworld Today, 2:16 pm
