    • Secures third victory
Rodon (3-2) earned the win over Houston on Wednesday, allowing two runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out seven batters over 6.1 innings.

Advice: Rodon gave up six earned runs over four frames in his worst start of the campaign his last time out, but he bounced back with a strong showing Wednesday. The left-hander racked up 16 swinging strikes against the Astros, leading to his second-highest single-game strikeout total of the season. While Rodon's season ERA sits at a mediocre 3.56, that's largely due to the blowup outing against Baltimore. He has posted a 2.54 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 37:14 K:BB over 39 innings across his other seven starts. Rotowire.com Today, 12:25 am

    • Jordan Hicks strikes out five in win vs. Rockies
Jordan Hicks allowed three runs with five strikeouts over five innings in a win over the Rockies on Wednesday.

Advice: After a clean first inning, a triple and a wild pitch brought the first run in to score for the Rockies in the second. Hicks ran into more trouble in the fifth, giving up two runs on four hits and a walk. His day was done after five frames on 92 pitches. He struck out five. The 27-year-old right-hander has enjoyed an early breakout as a starter, posting a 2.30 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and a 35/16 K/BB ratio across 43 innings. Hicks will take on the Dodgers in San Francisco on Monday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:30 pm

    • Perfect for 12th save
Suarez earned the save Wednesday against the Cubs, striking out one across a perfect inning.

Advice: Suarez advanced to 12-for-12 on save chances this season, putting him in lockstep with Kyle Finnegan for the most saves in baseball. He's allowed just seven hits on the season and the lone run charged against him came via a home run back on March 28. Suarez hasn't allowed a hit in 5.2 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:02 pm
    • Productive in doubleheader
Semien went a combined 6-for-10 with a home run and three additional runs scored in Wednesday's doubleheader against Oakland.

Advice: Semien, who had identical 3-for-5 lines in each end of the doubleheader, homered for a second straight game in the matinee. It's been a productive two days for Semien, who had four hits and a homer Tuesday; the second baseman raised his average 38 points after going 10-for-15 over the last three games. • Kirby Yates holds on for seventh save against A’s
Kirby Yates allowed one run with one strikeout in the ninth inning to record a save against the Athletics on Wednesday.

Advice: Up by five runs in the ninth, Owen White started the inning for the Rangers, but loaded the bases with no outs. Yates came on to clean it up, but gave up a sacrifice fly and a pair of hits to bring Oakland to within one run. He held on to escape the jam and end the game with his seventh save. • Gets back in win column
Singer (3-1) earned the win Wednesday against Milwaukee, allowing one run on five hits and two walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Singer tallied his first win in five starts, yielding one run for a third consecutive outing. He settled in nicely after allowing doubles to the first two batters he faced, keeping the Brewers off the scoreboard following the first frame. Singer has allowed more than two runs in just one start this season and owns a 2.36 ERA with 46 strikeouts across 45.2 innings. He's lined up for a start in Seattle on Monday. • Ozuna crushes two more home runs
Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-3 with two home runs, four RBI and a walk in the victory over the Red Sox on Wednesday.

Advice: Ozuna passed Shohei Ohtani for the league lead in home runs with 12 and also leads the league in RBI with 38. He’s also hitting .315 with a 1.042 OPS. Ozuna has carried the Braves offense so far this season. It’s a scary thought that Ozuna’s numbers could be even better if some of the hitters in front of him in the lineup like Ronald Acuña Jr. and Matt Olson were playing to their typical level of production. Rodón went back out for the seventh gave up a run on two hits before his day was done with one out in the frame. He struck out seven on an impressive 16 whiffs. It was a nice bounceback effort for the 31-year-old left-hander. He’ll take a 3.56 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and a 43/14 K/BB ratio across 43 innings into a start against the Twins in Minnesota on Tuesday. • Marcus Semien stays hot in Rangers’ loss to A’s
Marcus Semien went 3-for-5 with a solo homer in the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader against the Athletics.
