    Advice: We figured Triolo would prove to be a solid bat for the Pirates, but he’s come in at just .206/.293/.250 to date. Last year, he had 12 extra-base hits in 181 at-bats as a rookie. Moore has already tied a career high with his pair of three-baggers, and with four doubles, he's just under halfway to his 2023 total of nine in that department.     Advice: Kevin Kiermaier's return from the injured list Saturday was expected to cost Schneider some playing time, but the latter player will end up making his third straight start Wednesday. The previous two starts came in left field, but Schneider will man the keystone in the series finale in Philadelphia while the lefty-hitting Cavan Biggio heads to the bench against right-hander Aaron Nola. Schneider holds a 201-point edge in OPS over Biggio for the season (.822 to .621), so the Blue Jays could be motivated to give Schneider an extended look at second base while he's swinging the hotter bat of the two. The surge has boosted his slash line on the season to .299/.384/.520 with eight homers and 19 RBI, and with top prospect Junior Caminero tearing it up himself at Triple-A Durham (.340/.392/.681 over his last 12 games), Paredes is doing his best to ensure he won't lose his spot in the starting lineup once the Rays call up the 20-year-old phenom.     The Red Sox are expected to reinstate Gonzalez (wrist) from the 10-day injured list Wednesday, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

    Advice: Gonzalez has been on the injured list since April 13 due to a left wrist sprain, and he's gone 4-for-11 with three RBI since beginning a rehab assignment at Triple-A Worcester on Friday.
