    • On base three times in loss
Rooker went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and two runs in a loss to the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: A day after slugging two home runs in the same inning, Rooker laced the only extra-base hit of the afternoon for the Athletics. Rooker's multi-hit effort was his second straight and third in the last eight games, pushing his slash line over the entirety of that span to a spectacular .407/.500/.852 across 32 plate appearances. • Provides lone run in loss
Ozuna went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Ozuna was the only Atlanta player with multiple hits as well as the only one with an extra-base hit in Sunday's loss. He took James Paxton deep to right center in the seventh for his first long ball since April 21. He's now back tied atop the leaderboard with 10 home runs on the year and leads all of baseball with 33 RBI. Ozuna is slashing .306/.382/.603 with 16 extra-base hits, 21 runs and a 15:27 BB:K in 136 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 7:42 am

    • Breaks RBI drought
Carroll went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 11-4 win over San Diego.

Advice: Carroll delivered a two-run single as part of Arizona's four-run first inning, snapping a 16-game drought without an RBI. He's hit in five of the last six games (6-for-22), which is a positive sign for the slumping outfielder, but Carroll's bat still lacks impact. Through 33 games, he has seven RBI, four extra-base hits and a .250 slugging percentage. Rotowire.com Today, 5:32 am
    • Homers, extends hit streak
Marte went 1-for-4 with a walk, a home run and two RBI in Sunday's 11-4 win over San Diego.

Advice: Marte took Matt Waldron deep with a two-run home run in the first inning, giving the Diamondbacks an early lead. It was the seventh consecutive game with a hit for Marte, who homered for the first time in 16 games. He's belted six home runs and is slashing .307/.361/.526 through 35 contests. • Tosses scoreless frame
Jansen pitched one scoreless inning, allowing one hit in Sunday's 9-2 win over the Twins.

Advice: Jansen was locked into appearing in Sunday's contest no matter what, and he worked around an error by his defense and a single for a scoreless ninth inning. The 36-year-old is firmly locked into being Boston's closer in 2024, posting a 1.69 ERA and 1.22 WHIP with 14 strikeouts over 10.2 innings in 11 appearances while going 5-for-6 on save opportunities so far. • Ozuna has two hits, HR in loss to Dodgers
Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Dodgers on Sunday.

Advice: Ozuna’s home run was a 373-foot shot at 104.3 mph off the bat. It was the Braves’ only extra-base hit of the night. Ozuna now has 10 home runs and 33 RBI on the season while slashing .306/.382/.603 and has been the team’s best hitter this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:24 pm

    • Labors through three frames
Gore did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing six runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks over three innings against the Blue Jays. He struck out four.

Advice: Gore needed 76 pitches to get through three innings, with a second-inning grand slam by Vladimir Guerrero serving as the biggest blow. The silver lining for fantasy managers is that Guerrero's blast did not hurt Gore's stat line as two errors in the inning, including a fielding error by Gore, rendered each of those runs unearned. It was the shortest outing of the season for Gore, who has yet to allow more than three earned runs in any contest. He'll carry a 3.44 ERA into his next start, tentatively scheduled to take place next weekend when the Nationals travel to Fenway Park to take on the Red Sox. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:19 pm
    • Brent Rooker stays hot with two hits in loss
Brent Rooker went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored in a loss to the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: Rooker now has hits in seven of his last eight games and has six hits in this weekend’s series against the Marlins alone. He’s now slashing .256/.348/.615 on the year with eight home runs and 20 RBI. Rooker is a notoriously streaker hitter, so we have no idea how long this heater will last, but he should be on rosters while he’s swinging the bat this well. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:55 pm

    • MacKenzie Gore gives up grand slam in poor outing
MacKenzie Gore lasted only three innings and allowed six runs — two earned — and six hits Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: It was Gore’s own error that led to all of the unearned runs. Gore’s secondary pitches weren’t working today; he got just one missed swing on his 32 non-fastballs, and it was a changeup, after three straight fastballs, that Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit for a grand slam in the second. He’s 2-3 with a 3.44 ERA after seven turns. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:00 pm
