      Realmuto went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's win over the Giants.

      Advice: Realmuto slid into the No. 2 spot in the order with Trea Turner (hamstring) recently being placed on the injured list. He singled in the third and came home on Bryce Harper's three-run homer and would wind up notching two more base hits before his night was over. Sunday was the first three-hit effort of the season for Realmuto and his seventh multi-hit game.     • J.T. Realmuto collects three hits as Phillies roll
      J.T. Realmuto went 3-for-4 and scored a run as the Phillies triumphed over the Giants on Sunday evening in Philadelphia.

      Advice: Realmuto — hitting in the second slot of the lineup with Trea Turner (hamstring) shelved — singled in the third inning and rode home on Bryce Harper’s three-run blast. He added an infield single in the fourth inning and another in the sixth before all was said and done.       Garcia went 4-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, two runs scored and a steal during Sunday's win over the Blue Jays.

      Advice: Garcia's third homer of the season was a solo shot in the third and represented the second of his four hits on the day, with three of those hits producing runs. It was the culmination of a big weekend for Garcia, who went 7-for-9 with two walks, two homers, eight RBI and four runs and a steal during the three-game set, raising his average to .337 in the process.     • James McArthur blows save in ninth, loses in 10th
      James McArthur took a blown save and a loss after allowing two runs — one earned — between the ninth and 10th innings Sunday against the Rangers.

      Advice: McArthur blew the save by giving up a game-tying homer to Jonah Heim in the ninth. In spite of that, the Royals stuck with him in the 10th. He allowed only the automatic runner to score, but the Royals couldn’t let him off the hook from there. It’s not the kind of outing that will reflect particularly badly on him.       Soto went 1-for-4 with three RBI during Sunday's 5-2 win over the Tigers. He struck out twice.

      Advice: Soto had a rough go of it against Detroit starter Tarik Skubal, striking out twice against the tough lefty. However, Soto fared much better against southpaw reliever Andrew Chafin, clearing the bases with a seventh inning double to break a 2-2 tie and provide the winning runs for the Yankees. Soto's average stands at .316 with a .980 OPS, including eight homers, 28 RBI, 23 runs and four steals over 136 at-bats during his first season in the Bronx.     • Blown save, loss versus Texas
      McArthur (1-1) blew a save and picked up the loss after he pitched two innings, surrendering two runs (one earned) on four hits while striking out three batters in Sunday's 3-2 extra-inning defeat to the Rangers.

      Advice: McArthur entered the game with the Royals up 2-1 in the top of the ninth inning and gave up a game-tying solo home run to Jonah Heim with one out in the inning. He later returned for the top of the 10th frame, allowing the inherited runner to score on an RBI single by Nathaniel Lowe. The blown save was McArthur's second in nine total save opportunities this season, and he currently possesses a 2.87 ERA and 1.28 WHIP with 18 strikeouts over 15.2 innings in 13 appearances this season.       Before being lifted for a pinch-hitter, Luis García Jr. went 4-for-4 with a homer and a walk Sunday as the Nationals topped the Blue Jays 11-8.

      Advice: Only Dave Martinez, man. It wasn’t even because there was a lefty in that García was pulled. Instead, Martinez brought in Ildemaro Vargas to lay down a bunt in Garcia’s place with a 10-8 lead in the eighth. Most annoying is that it worked out; not only did Vargas bunt the runner to third, but he reached first after the Jays tried and failed to retire the lead man, and the Nationals scored one run in the inning. It was García’s third career four-hit game. He’s actually one of the rare major leaguers to have had six hits in a game, doing so against the Royals last year.     • Juan Soto propels Yankees past Tigers on Sunday
      Juan Soto delivered a go-ahead three-run double in the seventh inning on Sunday, propelling the Yankees to a 5-2 victory over the Tigers in the Bronx.

      Advice: The Tigers came back with a pair of runs to tie the game in the top half of the seventh inning, but the Yankees’ bats went right back to work in the home half of the frame. They loaded the bases against Shelby Miller with a single and a pair of walks, then Soto greeted Andrew Chafin with a three-run double into right field to put the Bombers back on top to stay. The 25-year-old superstar finished the day 1-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts and is now hitting .316/.421/.559 with eight homers, 28 RBI and four stolen bases on the season.
