      Nathan Eovaldi was removed from Thursday’s start against the Nationals due to right groin tightness.

      Advice: Eovaldi will continue to undergo further evaluation after exiting Thursday afternoon’s showdown with a trainer at 92 pitches through 5 2/3 scoreless frames. The 34-year-old righty finished with eight strikeouts and only issued a pair of walks.       Advice: Luzardo will make a rehab start sometime during the Marlins' upcoming road trip. The left-hander is eligible for activation from the 15-day injured list on May 10, and he could be a realistic candidate to start against the Phillies that day, if all goes well in his throwing program.
