    • Luis Campusano takes seat Sunday vs. Phillies
Luis Campusano is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the Phillies.

Advice: Campusano went 2-for-7 in the first two games of the series against Philadelphia, with both hits coming Friday. The 25-year-old backstop will take a seat with Kyle Higashioka starting behind the plate and hitting ninth. Rotoworld Today, 10:47 am
    • Christian Yelich (back) resumes swinging bat
Brewers manager Pat Murphy told reporters Sunday that Christian Yelich (back) has resumed swinging, but that his progress has “stalled.”

Advice: “I think within a week, we’ll be in a better spot,” Murphy told reporters. Yelich has been on the shelf since April 16 because of his lower back strain, and while it’s a positive development that he’s able to swing the stick, it’s less so to hear that he’s not making continued progress. The 32-year-old was expected to need just around a minimum stint on the injured list, but there’s a good chance that Yelich won’t return until the start of May at this point. • One steal, two RBI in loss
Garcia went 2-for-5 with two RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Garcia struggled in the middle of April, but he's now logged four multi-hit efforts over his last five games. He's added three steals and five RBI in that span while continuing to sit atop the Royals' order. The third baseman is slashing .222/.277/.380 with four home runs, seven steals, 20 RBI and 13 runs scored over 27 contests this season. Rotowire.com Today, 9:55 am
    • Not starting Sunday
Arozarena is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Arozarena started the previous nine games but will receive a breather after he went 4-for-34 with 13 strikeouts during that span. Harold Ramirez will shift to left field while Austin Shenton starts at designated hitter. Rotowire.com Today, 9:13 am

    • Moves to bench Sunday
Garcia is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: With southpaw Ryan Weathers on the hill for Miami, the lefty-hitting Garcia will hit the bench for the first time since April 14 while Ildemaro Vargas steps in at second base. While manning the keystone for each of the last 11 games, Garcia went 11-for-42 (.262 average) with one home run, four stolen bases, five RBI and one run. Rotowire.com Today, 9:02 am
    • Randy Arozarena out Sunday against White Sox
Randy Arozarena is not in the lineup Sunday against the White Sox.

Advice: Arozarena will get a day of rest for the finale Sunday. The outfielder has been atrocious to open the 2024 season with a .154 average and .488 OPS over a not-so-small sample of 104 at-bats. Rotoworld Today, 9:00 am

    • Picks up third win
Blanco (3-0) earned the win Saturday over Colorado after he gave up two runs on five hits and two walks across 5.2 innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: The right-hander surrendered a two-run homer to Ryan McMahon in the opening frame but otherwise had no issues pitching at altitude in Mexico City. Blanco came up an out short of extending his streak of quality starts to five, but it was yet another strong performance. The 30-year-old has been a bright spot amid a horrible start to the season for Houston with a 1.65 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 30:14 K:BB across 32.2 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 6:04 am

    • Ronel Blanco defeats Rockies to improve to 3-0
Ronel Blanco improved to 3-0 on the season on Saturday, limiting the Rockies to two runs on five hits over 5 2/3 innings in Mexico City.

Advice: The right-hander piled up eight strikeouts on the evening while walking a pair of opposing hitters. He served up a one-out, two-run homer to Ryan McMahon in the opening inning, then went on cruise control from that point forward. Blanco generated a whopping 21 swings and misses on 102 pitches in the ballgame — nine on his cutter and eight on his changeup — while posting a strong CSW of 28 percent. He has been a tremendous addition to the Astros’ rotation this season, compiling a 1.65 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 30/14 K/BB ratio over 32 2/3 innings through his first five starts. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling when he does battle against the Mariners at home on Friday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:17 pm

    • Maikel Garcia plates two, steals base in loss
Maikel Garcia went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI and a stolen base as the Royals fell to the Tigers on Saturday evening in Motown.

Advice: Garcia led off the game with a single off of Casey Mize and came around to score the game’s first run on an RBI ground ball off the bat of Vinnie Pasquantino. He then drove in a run with an RBI single in the second inning and swiped second base before being stranded there. The 24-year-old third baseman also plated a run with a ground ball in the ninth inning. With his two-hit attack, he’s now hitting .222/.277/.380 with four homers, 20 RBI and seven stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:11 pm
