    Advice: Hoerner blasted his third home run of the season in the third inning with a runner on and also stole his 14th base of the year The infielder is not known as a big power threat, as his career best in homers for a season is only 10, but he is a capable baserunner.     Nico Hoerner went 3-for-5 with a homer and a stolen base for the Cubs in an extra-inning win over the Giants on Thursday.

    Advice: Hoerner swatted a two-run blast off Jordan Hicks in the third inning to give the Cubs a 2-0 lead. That’s only the third homer of the season for the 27-year-old, but the steal was already the 14th of the year.     Advice: Hoerner hasn't hit all that well in June (.194), but he's logged six steals over 19 contests this month. The infielder is up to 12 thefts on 14 attempts for the season, providing speed atop the Cubs' lineup.     Advice: Morel provided all of Chicago's offense with his 15th home run of the season in the seventh inning. The 24-year-old has hit 15 or more homers in each of his three MLB seasons to date, including a career high 26 long balls last year in 107 games.     Christopher Morel slugged a two-run homer on Sunday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Cubs past the Mets.

    Advice: The Cubs weren’t able to get anything going over six innings against Luis Severino, but they started to battle back as soon as he exited. Morel finally got them on the board with a 420-foot (106.9 mph EV) two-run blast off of Dedniel Nunez in the seventh inning.
