• Three hits Friday
Rafaela started at shortstop and went 3-for-4 with a double in Friday's 9-2 loss to San Diego.

Advice: Rafaela is having a productive June, but he entered the game on a 1-for-18 run. The multi-hit effort was his eighth of the month, and the infielder/outfielder is batting .417 (20-for-48) over the last 13 games. This was his third consecutive start at shortstop, as manager Alex Cora adjusts to get his hottest bats in the lineup: Jarren Duran slotted in at center field while David Hamilton manned second base. • Logs steal in win
Witt went 1-for-3 with two walks, one stolen base and two runs scored in Friday's 10-3 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Witt previously went 10 games without a steal and hit just .184 (7-for-38) in that span. While that's a rare cold stretch for the shortstop, he salvaged it by knocking five extra-base hits in that period. Witt is up to 22 steals this year while adding 12 home runs, 53 RBI, 63 runs scored and a .310/.363/.531 slash line over 84 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:51 pm
  • Goes deep, swipes bag in win
Hoerner went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and a stolen base in Thursday's 5-3, 10-inning win over the Giants.

Advice: Hoerner blasted his third home run of the season in the third inning with a runner on and also stole his 14th base of the year The infielder is not known as a big power threat, as his career best in homers for a season is only 10, but he is a capable baserunner. Hoerner swiped a career-high 43 bases last year, and he had 20 stolen bases in 2022. Fantasy managers will hope he continues to run frequently the rest of the way. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:31 pm

  • Nico Hoerner homers, steals base in victory
Nico Hoerner went 3-for-5 with a homer and a stolen base for the Cubs in an extra-inning win over the Giants on Thursday.

Advice: Hoerner swatted a two-run blast off Jordan Hicks in the third inning to give the Cubs a 2-0 lead. That’s only the third homer of the season for the 27-year-old, but the steal was already the 14th of the year. Hoerner missed time with a hairline fracture in his hand, and he’s a good bet to see a much higher average than the .246 mark he’s put up thus far in the second half. Rotoworld Thursday, 4:51 pm

  • Hitting bench Wednesday
Rafaela is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Rafaela has followed a hot stretch to begin June with a slump, having picked up only one hit over his previous five contests. With Rafaela on the bench Wednesday, Jarren Duran will patrol center field and David Hamilton will start at shortstop. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 11:45 am

Witt went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Athletics.

He's batting .347 with a .937 OPS, three home runs and five steals this month. That's even a little better than his season-long .322/.371/.550 slash line with 12 homers, 21 steals, 53 RBI and 60 runs scored through 76 contests. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:13 am
