• Four hits in walk-off win
Castellanos went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Padres.

Advice: Castellanos capped Philadelphia's comeback victory in the bottom of the ninth inning, poking a ground-rule double down the right-field line, his second double and fourth hit of the game, to drive in Alec Bohm as the winning run. Castellanos is now 6-for-9 with four doubles in his last two games after going 0-for-14 in his previous three contests. Overall, he's slashing .219/.275/.371 on the year with nine homers, 31 RBI and 37 runs scored across 306 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:41 pm

  • Castellanos has big game-winning hit
Nick Castellanos went 4-for-5 with a game-winning double in a 4-3 win over the Padres on Tuesday.

Advice: Castellanos came to the plate in a tie game in the ninth inning and blooped in a 78 mph double just beyond a sliding Fernando Tatis Jr. in right field. It was a much-needed big game for the veteran, who was hitting .203 in 14 games in June and is now hitting just .219 overall on the season. Castellanos is making more contact and striking out less this season, but he’s making less authoritative contact and really struggling to hit anything other than fastballs with a .134 AVG and .208 wOBA against off-speed pitches. He’ll continue to play regularly and hit in the middle of the Phillies’ lineup, but there aren’t many signs of a full-on bounceback here. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:54 pm

  • Rafaela has three-hit night in win over Blue Jays
Ceddanne Rafaela went 3-for-4 and a double and one RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: The Red Sox’s No. 9 hitter came up big on Tuesday as his third hit drove in the go-ahead run to complete the comeback over the Jays. Rafaela has been hot of late, hitting in seven straight games while going 16-for-26 over that span. He’s slashing a solid .377/.406/.475 in June but continues to strike out at a high rate (32.8 percent) when he’s not getting on base. We’ll see how long this hot-hitting continues for the young centerfielder. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:44 pm

  • Albies triples, drives in one in win over Tigers
Ozzie Albies went 1-for-4 with a triple and an RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Tigers.

Advice: Albies hit his first triple of the season in the first inning to drive home Jared Kelenic. His RBI would be one of two the Braves would drive in on the evening in what turned into an unexpected pitching duel on the evening. Like many of his teammates, Albies has struggled at the plate this month, slashing .209/.229/.418, despite having nine extra base hits. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:03 pm

  • Wilyer Abreu (ankle) starts rehab assignment
Wilyer Abreu (ankle) will start a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday with Triple-A Worcester.

Advice: It’ll likely be a quick tune-up for Abreu as he works his way back from a sprained ankle that sent him to the shelf back on June 4. The 24-year-old corner outfielder will likely return to Boston by the end of the week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:14 pm

  • Absent from Cubs lineup
Morel is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Giants.

Advice: Morel has only one hit over his last five games and tough right-hander Logan Webb will take the ball Tuesday for San Francisco, so it's a sensible spot for a day off. David Bote is getting the call at third base while Morel regroups. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:59 pm

  • Starting rehab assignment
Abreu (ankle) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday, Tommy Cassell of the Worcester Telegram and Gazette reports.

Advice: Abreu is slated to bat second and serve as the designated hitter for the WooSox. He's been sidelined for just over two weeks with a right ankle sprain, so Abreu shouldn't need many rehab at-bats before rejoining the Red Sox' active roster. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:26 am

  • Swats fifth homer
Albies went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's win over the Tigers.

Advice: The second baseman belted the game-winning homer in the eighth inning off Shelby Miller in a 2-1 victory, giving Atlanta its only lead of the night. The long ball was only the fifth of the year for Albies, and the 27-year-old has had trouble finding any rhythm at the plate in June, slashing .206/.227/.397 over 15 games this month. • Fans seven in no-decision
Assad allowed one run on five hits and two walks while striking out seven batters over five innings in a no-decision against San Francisco on Monday.

Advice: Assad needed 92 pitches to get through five frames, but he was effective during his time on the mound, limiting the Giants to just a fourth-inning run. However, the right-hander couldn't pick up his first win since mid-May, as Chicago's offense wasn't able to push across a run until after his departure. Nonetheless, this was a nice bounce-back for Assad after he surrendered seven earned runs over 10.1 frames across his previous two outings. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:47 pm
