The 27-year-old wasn't done, recording three more hits including his MLB-leading 28th double of the season. • Bryce Harper hits 19th homer, plates five in win
Bryce Harper went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer and five RBI on Monday, powering the Phillies to a dominant 8-1 victory over the Tigers.

Advice: Harper kicked off the scoring in the opening frame with a sizzling two-run double to center field off Tigers starter Casey Mize, which left his bat at a stratopsheric 111 mph exit velocity. He also connected for his 19th round-tripper of the season, sending a three-run moonshot to right field off southpaw reliever Tyler Holton a couple frames later to cap off a stellar performance in a one-sided affair at Comerica Park. The 31-year-old fantasy superstar is in the midst of one of the best stretches of his career at the moment, batting .345 (39-for-113) with nine homers and 21 RBI over his last 30 games. • Alec Bohm posts four hits, homers in victory
Alec Bohm went 4-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI on Monday in the Phillies’ lopsided win over the Tigers.

Advice: Bohm capped off Philadelphia’s four-run explosion in the opening frame with a two-run shot -- his ninth big fly of the season -- off Tigers starter Casey Mize. He also added an RBI double in the late stages of Monday’s blowout at Comerica Park to finish off an impressive four-hit performance. The 27-year-old corner infielder has been a key contributor in the heart of the Phillies’ lineup this season with the best year of his career so far, batting .313 (92-for-294) with nine homers, 64 RBI and four steals across 76 games. • Cardinals officially activate Contreras off the IL
Cardinals activated C Willson Contreras (forearm) off the 10-day IL.

Advice: It was a quick turnaround for Contreras who had surgery back in early May to repair a fractured left forearm when he was hit by J.D. Martinez’s swing. We should expect the Cardinals to ease Contreras in during the first couple of weeks with an extra day off or two, but his bat will be a welcome addition to the Cardinals’ lineup and fantasy lineups as well. Nick Raposo has been optioned to Triple-A Memphis in a corresponding move. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:43 pm

  • Returns from injured list
The Cardinals activated Contreras (forearm) from the 10-day injured list Monday. He'll start at catcher and bat third in the Cardinals' series opener versus Atlanta.

Advice: Contreras was initially expected to miss around 10 weeks after he suffered a fractured left forearm in early May, but he'll make it back from the IL in just six and a half weeks. The Cardinals could manage Contreras' workload carefully as he settles back in with the big club, but fantasy managers should feel free to activate ahead of this week's action. Contreras posted a .950 OPS with six home runs over 31 games before getting injured. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:40 pm

  • Logs first multi-hit game
Rice went 2-for-3 in Sunday's loss to Atlanta.

Advice: Rice was one of two Yankees with multiple hits in the contest, and it was the first multi-hit effort of his career. The 25-year-old started at first base for the fifth time in six contests since being called up, and three of those games have been against left-handed starters, against whom he's gone just 1-for-9. Rice has otherwise held his own overall in going 5-for-17 with a 3:3 BB:K, but he'll likely begin yielding some starts against southpaws to J.D. Davis, whom the Yankees acquired Sunday. • Expected back Monday
Contreras (forearm) is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Monday's game versus Atlanta, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Contreras has played six rehab games with Triple-A Memphis, catching three games and serving as the designated hitter in three others. He's gone just 3-for-21 at the plate in those contests, but the Cardinals are more concerned with how he's feeling and reports on that are favorable. Contreras was initially supposed to be out until around the All-Star break when he fractured his left forearm in early May but will beat that timetable by a few weeks. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:45 am

  • Extends hitting streak with homer
Nimmo went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Nimmo has hit safely in nine straight games, going 16-for-37 (.432) in that span. He's turned up the power recently as well, slugging a homer in four of his last six contests to put him at 11 long balls on the year. The outfielder has added a .244/.358/.430 slash line with 43 RBI, 46 runs scored and five stolen bases across 72 games. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:19 pm
