    Advice: Rengifo reached the 20-steal mark for the season Friday after totaling just 18 thefts over his first five campaigns. The infielder has been good in June, batting .279 (19-for-68) with eight steals on 11 attempts, though he has just one extra-base hit this month. This was Duran's first blown save of the year -- he's converted 11 saves and added four holds over 24 appearances. The closer has a 3.91 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 21:8 K:BB through 23 innings overall.     Jhoan Duran blew a save while allowing two runs and also picked up a loss to the A’s on Friday.

    Advice: Duran has lost three games in 2024, but this was technically his first blown save of the year. The right-hander came in during the eighth, but gave up a hit to Daz Cameron and then a two-run blast to Shea Langeliers.     Singer yielded a run on three hits and two walks over five innings in a no-decision Friday. He struck out four during the loss to Texas.

    Advice: Singer turned in three scoreless frames before Wyatt Langford knocked an RBI double in the fourth inning. It was the only damage against Singer through five innings, but the Royals bullpen would go on to allow five runs in the sixth and cost him a win. It was his first start without allowing a homer since May 19; in his previous four outings, he was taken deep six times, resulting in a 5.31 ERA.     Brady Singer pitched well in a no-decision against the Rangers on Friday night, allowing just one run on three hits over his five frames.

    Advice: Singer racked up four strikeouts on the evening while surrendering a pair of free passes. The lone run that scored against him came on an RBI double off the bat of Wyatt Langford in the fourth inning. Singer exited with a 2-1 lead and in line for a victory, but the Royals’ bullpen was unable to oblige. The 27-year-old hurler got nine whiffs on 89 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 24 percent.     Jason Foley recorded the final four outs against the White Sox on Friday night, protecting a one-run advantage to earn his 13th save of the season.

    Advice: Foley came on with the tying run on base with two outs in the eighth inning and got Andrew Vaughn to ground out to second base. He then returned for the ninth where he plunked Paul DeJong with one out in the inning to bring the go-ahead run to the plate again. Andrew Benintendi then lined out to center field and DeJong forgot how many outs there were, easily getting doubled off of first base to end the ballgame. Since moving to second in the lineup June 13, Nimmo has five multi-hit games, three home runs, 10 RBI and 12 runs scored.
