    Advice: Singer was able to keep the Rays' bats relatively quiet Tuesday, as the only run scored against him came as a result of a wild pitch in the second inning. However, a lack of run support from his offense combined with a collapse of Kansas City's bullpen following a lengthy rain delay will cause the 27-year-old righty to take his third loss in five starts.     Lindor went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored during Tuesday's 7-2 extra-inning win over the Nationals.

    Advice: Lindor got the Mets on the board with a sixth-inning solo home run off DJ Herz and came around to score the game-tying run in the eighth on a Brandon Nimmo single.     Brady Singer pitched well in a losing effort against the Rays on Tuesday night, allowing one run on three hits over his five frames.

    Advice: Singer also issued three walks on a rainy evening in Kansas City while punching out four opposing hitters. The only run that scored against him came in the second inning as Richie Palacios scampered home on a wild pitch with two outs in the inning. The 27-year-old right-hander got 15 swings and misses on 88 pitches on the night — 10 of those on his slider — while posting a strong CSW of 32 percent.     Jhoan Duran pitched a perfect ninth inning to earn the save on Tuesday against the Tigers.

    Advice: Duran now has 13 saves on the season, as he lowered his WHIP in the year to 0.98 thanks to a solid frame against the Tigers, in which he struck out one batter.     Bader said after Tuesday's win over Washington that he was removed from the game after hitting his head/neck on the outfield wall, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

    Advice: Bader ran into the outfield wall while trying to make a catch during the third inning and had to be taken out of the game shortly afterward. He cleared all medical tests following the incident and said he's hopeful to return to action Wednesday.     Francisco Lindor went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in a 7-2 win over the Nationals in 10 innings on Tuesday.

    Brandon Nimmo went 2-for-3 with two RBIs after coming off the bench in a win over the Nationals on Tuesday.

    Advice: Nimmo didn’t start the game after nursing a head injury when he fell in his hotel room on Sunday night and cut his head. However, he certainly seems to be healthy, knocking in a run on a single in the eighth to tie the game and then giving the Mets a two-run cushion in the 10th inning with an RBI double. Over the last six weeks, Nimmo is hitting .283/.377/.496 with six home runs, 27 runs scored, 21 RBI, and three steals in 33 games. He remains underrated in fantasy baseball.   • Harrison Bader makes precautionary exit Tuesday
    Harrison Bader was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Nationals for precautionary reasons after an awkward collision with the right-center field wall.

    Advice: The Mets declined to cite a specific reason for Bader’s removal from the contest. However, MLB.com’s Anthony DiComo notes that his left arm hit the right-center field wall awkwardly during that third-inning collision and he appeared pretty shaken up afterwards.
