  • Hampson drives in one run for Royals in loss
    Garrett Hampson went 1-for-3 with one RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Twins.

    Advice: Hampson drove in the Royals’ first run of the night when he singled home Nick Loftin in the fifth inning. It was a tough evening for the Royals, as the heart of their order failed to record a hit, leaving Hampson and the lower third of the order to act as run support.   • Pavin Smith doubles, drives in one in loss
    Pavin Smith went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Rangers.

    Advice: Smith doubled off Nathan Eovaldi in the second inning to drive in Christian Walker and give the Diamondbacks an early 1-0 lead. Smith has now tallied four hits in his last 13 at-bats and is well off the fantasy radar at this time. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:26 pm
     
  • Miguel Andujar homers in win over Rays
    Miguel Andujar went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in a win over the Rays on Tuesday.

    Advice: Andujar took a sixth-inning offering from Zack Littell and hit it out of the park for a three-run shot at 106 mph off the bat. It was his first home run of the 2024 season, but the 29-year-old has been regularly hitting in the middle of the order for Oakland since coming off the IL and has gone 4-for-12 with five RBIs in three games. He’s a career .271 hitter who hasn’t quite delivered on his early-career promise, but perhaps he can get on the deep-league fantasy radar now that he seems to have a full-time job.   • Refsnyder has two hits, HR in win over Orioles
    Rob Refsnyder went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a win over the Orioles on Tuesday.

    Advice: Refsnyder had a 102.2 mph double off of Grayson Rodriguez in the first inning and then clobbered a 419-foot home run in the ninth that left the bat at 105.1 mph. It was his second home run on the season, and he now has 13 RBI to go along with a .347/.437/.547 slash line in 87 plate appearances this season. With Tyler O’Neill visiting a specialist for his troublesome right knee, there is a chance that Refsnyder starts getting more regular at-bats for the Red Sox in the near future.   • Will Benson homers in loss to Cardinals
    Will Benson went 1-for-1 with a walk and a solo home run in a loss to the Cardinals on Tuesday.

    Advice: In one game, we saw the pluses and minuses of the Will Benson experience. He hit a solo home run off Kyle Gibson but was lifted for a pinch hitter in the eighth inning with a left-handed reliever on the mound. The 25-year-old flashed some intriguing power and speed upside last year, but he now has a .199/.300/.416 triple slash and the Reds are happy to remove him in the middle of a game when a lefty comes in.     Moore isn't in the Mariners' lineup Tuesday against the Astros.

    Advice: Moore has been extremely hot at the plate lately, slashing an incredible .324/.489/.735 with three homers and seven RBI across his last 11 games. He'll get a breather against Hunter Brown and the Astros while Luke Raley, Julio Rodriguez and Dominic Canzone start across the outfield with Mitch Haniger in as the DH.
