• Sitting Wednesday
Guillorme is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Astros, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Advice: After he was acquired from Atlanta on May 9, Guillorme picked up starts in five of his first seven games with the Angels. He seems to have since moved into a utility role with Luis Rengifo returning from the injured list and taking on everyday duties at third base and with prospect Kyren Paris getting called up from Triple-A Salt Lake to serve as the team's main option at second base. Paris is hitting just .111 since his promotion, so it may not be long before the Angels pull the plug on the rookie and give Guillorme more playing time at the keystone. • Playing time trending down
Tucker is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Astros, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Tucker made five consecutive starts at third base from May 5 through 9, but with the Angels having since acquired Luis Guillorme and returned Luis Rengifo from the injured list, Tucker's playing time has become more sparse. He's on the bench for the ninth time in the Angels' last 12 games, with two of his starts during that stretch coming in left field. Rotowire.com 36 minutes ago

  • Lifts homer in loss
Chapman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a double in Tuesday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Pirates.

Advice: Chapman has gone 16-for-43 (.372) with eight extra-base hits and eight RBI over his last 11 games. The third baseman's homer Tuesday gave the Giants a 5-2 lead in the seventh inning. He's up to six long balls, 22 RBI, 30 runs scored, 13 doubles and five stolen bases while slashing .243/.303/.411 over 48 contests. While his .714 OPS is notably down from last year, he seems to have turned a corner in May by batting .279 after hitting just .212 in April. Rotowire.com 39 minutes ago
  • Supplies game-winning home run
Toro went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Toro's bat was silent until the eighth inning when he sent out a home run to right field to give the A's their first lead of the night. He's racked up seven hits over his last five games and leads the majors with 28 hits in the month of May. Since April 26, Toro is slashing .362/.406/.553 with three homers, 10 RBI, 17 runs and a 4:16 BB:K in 101 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 8:45 am

  • Leaves yard Tuesday
Davis went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's in over the Rockies.

Advice: Davis got the A's on the board with a solo blast off Cal Quantrill in the third inning. It was his first home run since he had two against the Guardians on March 29 and just his second hit in his last 20 plate appearances since May 11. The 31-year-old has lost out on playing time due to his offensive struggles. He's now slashing .196/.237/.337 with seven extra-base hits, three RBI, 10 runs and a 4:25 BB:K in 97 plate appearances. • Colt Keith draws start versus left-hander
Even though the Tigers are facing a tough lefty in Cole Ragans, Colt Keith is in the lineup for Wednesday’s game versus the Royals.

Advice: It’s the fourth time this year he’s drawn a start against a lefty. That he’s gone 6-for-8 the last two days certainly helped his cause here. Kerry Carpenter and Wenceel Pérez are taking a seat versus Ragans. Rotoworld Today, 8:20 am

  • Not in lineup
Senzel is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Advice: Senzel went 0-for-5 with a walk in the first two games of the series and will receive a day off for the finale. The Nationals will roll with Ildemaro Vargas at third base against Simeon Woods Richardson and the Twins. Rotowire.com Today, 8:10 am

  • Brett Baty sits against second straight righty
Brett Baty is out of the lineup against a righty for a second straight game Wednesday against the Guardians.

Advice: While Baty and Mark Vientos had been platooning, it figured that Vientos would get one start against the Guardians, just because the Mets didn’t want him to sit around doing nothing for four days (three straight righties followed by an off day). Vientos, though, did very well with his start last night, going 2-for-4 with a double and a walk, and he’s getting the nod again in this one. It wouldn’t be much of a surprise to see Baty demoted soon. Rotoworld Today, 7:33 am

  • Sitting against right-hander again
Baty is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Guardians, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Baty is on the bench against a right-handed starting pitcher (Triston McKenzie), likely signaling that he's at least temporarily lost hold of his role as the Mets' preferred third baseman. Though he's drawn positive reviews for his work defensively this season, Baty has failed to take a notable step forward at the plate, as he's posted a .611 OPS through 150 plate appearances. Baty has performed especially poorly over the past three weeks, going just 5-for-40 with 19 strikeouts against three walks across a stretch of 13 games. Mark Vientos looks like he'll get an extended look at the hot corner as the Mets look to bolster their slumping offense. Rotowire.com Today, 7:11 am
