• Lifted after HBP
Rosario was in the face by a pitch during the first inning of Saturday's game against the Pirates and was removed from the contest, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Advice: Richie Palacios entered the game as a pinch runner following the hit-by-pitch, removing Rosario from the contest. More information regarding the severity of Rosario's injury should come postgame. Rotowire.com Today, 1:29 pm

  • Amed Rosario (face) leaves game after hit by pitch
Amed Rosario was removed from Saturday’s game against the Pirates in the first inning after taking a 100-mph fastball from Jared Jones off of his face.

Advice: Yikes. Fortunately, Rosario was able to walk off the field under his own power. It’s unclear where exactly the pitch clipped him on the left side of the face, or if it glanced off of the ear flap on his helmet first. Either way, he’ll head for further evaluation to determine the extent of the damage. The Rays should have an update on his status as soon as one becomes available. Rotoworld Today, 1:22 pm

  • Not starting Saturday
Mateo is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Astros.

Advice: Mateo will begin Saturday's game in the dugout after going 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 14-11 loss to Houston. Jordan Westburg and Ramon Urias will man second and third base, respectively, against Astros right-hander Ronel Blanco. Rotowire.com Today, 12:36 pm

  • Sitting Saturday
Duran is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals.

Advice: After starting in 11 consecutive games, Duran will be out of the lineup for a second straight contest Saturday. For the month of June, he's slashing .230/.226/.328 with one home run and seven RBI over 61 at-bats. The lefty-hitting Travis Jankowski will serve as the designated hitter Saturday and bat eighth against the returning Michael Wacha. Rotowire.com Today, 12:29 pm

  • David Hamilton back in Saturday’s lineup vs. Reds
David Hamilton (side) is back in the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Reds.

Advice: Hamilton is back in Boston’s lineup after missing two of their last three contests due to some lingering left side discomfort. The 26-year-old speedster should be rostered in all fantasy formats at this point since he’s batting .315 (29-for-92) with three homers and 16 stolen bases over his last 30 games. His game-changing speed is a factor for fantasy purposes, even if he’s going to bat near the bottom of the lineup more often than not. Rotoworld Today, 10:19 am

  • Homers in Friday's loss
Mateo went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 14-11 loss to the Astros.

Advice: Mateo's long ball was one of three during the Orioles' seven-run eighth inning, but the deficit was too steep to overcome. The infielder has homered twice over nine games since he returned from a concussion, but he's batting a mere .192 (5-for-26) over that span. For the season, he's at a .236/.281/.443 slash line with five homers, 12 stolen bases, 18 RBI and 24 runs scored across 155 plate appearances. Mateo's playing time is not yet at risk, but Ramon Urias has had a strong June and could push for a larger role if he keeps it up. Rotowire.com Today, 9:59 am

  • Walks it off Friday
Anderson went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Friday's extra-inning win over the Mariners.

Advice: The veteran shortstop ripped a walk-off single into left field off Austin Voth in the bottom of the 10th inning, although the Marlins got a bit lucky when Cal Raleigh couldn't come up with the throw to the plate, allowing Jake Burger to score. Anderson has been red hot of late, batting .405 (17-for-42) with seven multi-hit performances in the last 10 games, but he still carries a feeble .232/.257/.246 slash line on the season. • Picks up first big-league hit
Martinez went 1-for-3 in Friday's loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Getting his first career MLB start while batting eighth as the second baseman, Martinez poked a single up the middle to lead off the sixth inning for his first career hit, but the rest the Toronto offense failed to bring him around to score. The 22-year-old also committed his first career error, and defense remains the biggest obstacle between him and a regular spot in the lineup. Martinez seems likely to head back to Triple-A Buffalo once Bo Bichette (calf) gets healthy, but if the Blue Jays become sellers at the trade deadline, a permanent spot could open up in the majors for the top prospect. • Returned to Triple-A
The Giants returned Fitzgerald to Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Fitzgerald served as the Giants' 27th man for Thursday's game at Rickwood Field, and he'll now head back to the minors without logging a plate appearance. The 26-year-old has slashed .346/.448/.808 in 13 Triple-A games and would be the favorite to return to San Francisco if the Giants run into problems with their infield depth.
