      Mazur (0-1) took the loss Sunday against the Padres, allowing eight runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out two over three innings.

      Advice: Mazur was hit hard in just his second MLB start. The Diamondbacks scratched a run against him in the first but did most of their damage in the second when they piled on six runs, which was capped off by a two-run blast by Jake McCarthy. Mazur was able to pitch a clean third but was lifted after allowing a leadoff walk in the fourth and that runner would eventually come around to score. Mazur is known for his elite command of the strike zone but has now walked seven batters over his first nine big league innings and is showing some early jitters.       Puk (0-7) took the loss Sunday against the Guardians, coughing up three runs on three hits in a third of an inning.

      Advice: Entering the game in the seventh inning with the score tied 2-2, Puk gave up a couple one-out singles before Tyler Freeman got hold of a sweeper on the inside corner of the plate and pulled it over the left-field fence. Puk's fortunes haven't improved much since he came off the IL in mid-May and returned to the bullpen -- over his last 11 innings, he's stumbled to a 4.91 ERA with a 6:3 K:BB.       Flaherty (back) is expected to make his next start during the Tigers' three-game series in Houston that begins Friday, MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Flaherty was forced out of his most recent start against the Rangers this past Tuesday, when he tossed five scoreless innings before being lifted on account of back tightness. The right-hander downplayed his injury when he addressed the media after the game and said that he expected to make his next start in Tuesday's series opener versus the Nationals, but the Tigers have since elected to err on the side of caution and give Flaherty a few extra days to recover. Detroit will take advantage of Monday's off day to reshuffle the rotation, with Kenta Maeda, Reese Olson and Casey Mize picking up starts Tuesday through Thursday before Flaherty and ace Tarik Skubal start the first two games of the series in Houston in some order. Though Flaherty looks like he won't be operating under any restrictions against the Astros after playing catch Friday and throwing a bullpen session Sunday without issue, the change in the pitching order means that he'll miss out on a two-start week. After inking a two-year, $24 million deal this winter, Maeda has gotten off to a rough start to his tenure with the Tigers, logging a 6.25 ERA and 1.41 WHIP over 40.1 innings while also spending time on the injured list due to a viral illness.       Advice: Henry followed opener Scott McGough and was the pitcher of record when the Diamondbacks scored six times in the second inning. It was a long day for Henry, who was called up from Triple-A Reno late Saturday and flew early Sunday to be in San Diego in time for the game. The left-hander was in Arizona's rotation early this season, and injuries could lead to at least one turn in the coming week. In addition to the injuries, performance may play a role in Henry staying longer.       Glasnow (6-5) took the loss Sunday against the Dodgers, allowing five runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out 12 in six innings.

      Advice: Nearly all the damage against Glasnow came via the long ball. The Yankees opened up the scoring with a solo home run in the third and tacked on an additional run before the inning ended. Trent Grisham later slugged a three-run blast in the sixth to put the Yankees up 5-3 and they would not relinquish the lead from there. The eight hits allowed tied Glasnow's season high and he's now given up at least a home run in five of his last six starts though it was also his fifth time striking out at least 10 hitters.
