      Advice: Sharp even without the benefit or a rehab assignment, Valdez struck out six and walked none today.       Advice: Campusano entered the game as a pinch-hitter for Kyle Higashioka in the seventh inning and responded by crushing a 397-foot (106.2 mph EV) three-run blast off of Taijuan Walker that pulled the Padres to within a run at 7-6. He later singled and came around to score in the top of the ninth on a double from Harold Ramirez. The homer was the 25-year-old's seventh of the season and second in his last five games.       Advice: Valdez was activated from the injured list and made his first appearance since April 2. He coughed up a pair of runs in the second inning but otherwise looked solid. He forced 13 swinging strikes and his sinker touched 96 mph. Through three starts this season, Valdez has produced a 2.60 ERA with a 16:6 K:BB across 17.1 frames.
