    • Breaks homer drought
Garcia went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run during Sunday's 10-1 win over Colorado.

Advice: Garcia hit leadoff in each of his previous 11 starts but was bumped down to eighth in the batting order Sunday. Despite the change, Garcia still was productive, hitting his first home run since May 17 with a three-run blast off Tanner Gordon in the first inning. On the year, Garcia is slashing .230/.283/.347 with six home runs and a 15.8 percent K rate. Rotowire.com 24 minutes ago

    • Fans four in return
Cabrera yielded two runs on four hits and a walk in a no-decision Sunday. He struck out four during Miami's win over the White Sox.

Advice: Cabrera made his first MLB appearance since May 7 after a two-month stint on the IL due to a shoulder issue. He looked solid through three scoreless frames before coughing up a two-run homer to Danny Mendick in the fourth inning. Cabrera walked just one batter but struggled to command the strike zone, throwing just 47 of 82 pitches for strikes. He's now sporting a 6.84 ERA with a 35:15 K:BB through 25 innings. Cabrera's next outing is projected to be in Cincinnati. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:51 pm
    • Dazzles for 10th win
Skubal (10-3) allowed one run on three hits over seven innings to earn the win Sunday against the Reds. He struck out 13.

Advice: Skubal was dominant once again Sunday as he recorded a new season high in strikeouts and allowed one run or fewer for the 10th time in 18 starts. The lefty now has a stellar 2.37 ERA and 132 strikeouts across 110 innings this year, which earned him his first All-Star selection on Sunday as well. Skubal has been an excellent fantasy asset, and he's set up to make one more start before the All-Star break, likely on Friday against the Dodgers. It's a tough matchup, but the Detroit ace should remain locked into lineups the rest of the way. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:42 pm
    • Turns in quality start
Woods Richardson allowed two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings in a no-decision versus the Astros on Sunday.

Advice: Woods Richardson gave up both runs in the second inning, but the Twins were able to respond and ultimately won 3-2. He's been just find with 18 runs allowed over 37.2 innings across his last seven starts, three of which registered as quality starts. He's now at a 3.48 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 64:23 K:BB through 77.2 innings over 15 starts this season. The 23-year-old is projected to make his next start in San Francisco. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:27 pm
    • Handed loss Sunday
Soriano (4-7) allowed three runs on six hits and a walk while striking out three over five innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Cubs.

Advice: Soriano gave up two runs in the third inning and another in the fifth, and the Angels mustered just three hits to give him little support. He's allowed seven runs over nine innings across two starts since he returned from an abdominal infection. The right-hander is now at a 3.87 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 67:30 K:BB through 81.1 innings over 16 appearances (14 starts). After stretching out to 73 pitches Sunday, Soriano should be able to handle close to a full workload in his next start, which is tentatively projected to be at home versus the Mariners. • Tarik Skubal leads pitching for A.L. All-Stars
Tarik Skubal was named to his first American League All-Star team on Sunday.

Advice: The 27-year-old southpaw racked up a career-best 13 strikeouts in a victory over the Reds on Sunday afternoon, then got the news that he would be heading to the All-Star Game. He’s certainly deserving, having posted a 10-3 record, 2.37 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and a 132/20 K/BB ratio over 110 innings in his first 18 starts. He’ll be joined on the pitching staff for the American League All-Stars by Corbin Burnes, Garrett Crochet, Tanner Houck, Seth Lugo, Cole Ragans, Logan Gilbert, Tyler Anderson, Mason Miller, Kirby Yates, Clay Holmes and Emmanuel Clase. • Maikel Garcia delivers three-run homer in rout
After being dropped to the eighth spot in the order, Maikel Garcia went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk against the Rockies on Sunday.

Advice: Garcia’s last stint of being dropped from the leadoff spot lasted two games, so we’ll see if this one is any longer. He’s been quite a disappointment for the Royals this season, though not really for fantasy purposes with his 21 steals, 52 runs scored and 40 RBI. It’s big for his fantasy value that he lead off, though, and since the Royals aren’t moving Bobby Witt Jr. or Vinnie Pasquantino up to that spot, Garcia probably remains the team’s best option. Adam Frazier got the nod there today and went 0-for-4. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:46 pm

    • Woods-Richardson keeps Astros bats at bay
Simeon Woods-Richardson allowed two runs on three hits in six innings in a no-decision against the Astros on Sunday.

Advice: Woods-Richardson struck out four and walked two on the day while inducing 10 whiffs on 48 swings for a 21 percent whiff rate and 24 percent CSW. He doesn’t light up radar guns and never seems to be particularly dominant, but the rookie has a 3.48 ERA on the season and just keeps getting the job done. He’ll look to keep that going next week against a vulnerable Giants lineup. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:13 pm
    • José Soriano gives up three runs in loss to Cubs
José Soriano lost to the Cubs after allowing three runs in five innings Sunday.

Advice: Soriano settled for four missed swings and three strikeouts today, but only four of the 17 balls in play against him were hit hard. While his two starts since coming off the IL haven’t gone as hoped, his velocity and movement seem fine. He’ll face the Mariners in his final start before the break. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:12 pm
