    • Notches third steal
Mountcastle went 1-for-5 with a stolen base in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Yankees.

Advice: Mountcastle's steal was his third of the year, putting him one shy of matching his career high. The first baseman's speed isn't notable, but he's been steady at the plate, going 10-for-40 (.250) over 10 contests in July. Overall, he's slashing .271/.311.,447 with 12 home runs, 43 RBI, 44 runs scored, 22 doubles and a triple through 88 games this season. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:00 pm
    • Struggles with command
Lodolo yielded two runs on three hits and four walks over 4.2 innings in a no-decision Sunday. He struck out four during the loss to Miami.

Advice: Lodolo kept the Marlins off the board through four innings before Jonah Bride knocked a two-run single in the fifth. Lodolo has failed to complete five frames in three straight outings since his win in Pittsburgh on June 18. During that three-start span, he's produced a lackluster 11:9 K:BB over 13 innings. Lodolo finishes his first half with a strong 3.33 ERA and 81:24 K:BB through 78.1 frames. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:02 pm

    • Drives in five Sunday
Rooker went 2-for-2 with a pair of two-run home runs, an RBI sacrifice fly and a walk in an 18-3 win over the Phillies on Sunday.

Advice: Rooker ignited the Athletics' eight-homer barrage on the afternoon with the first of his two massive round trippers, slugging a 450-foot shot to center with JJ Bleday aboard in the fourth inning to erase a 1-0 deficit. He'd one-up himself just two frames later, clearing the center-field wall at a distance of 452 feet to plate Bleday once again. The All-Star snub has been one of baseball's most fearsome hitters since the calendar flipped to July, hitting .488 (20-for-41) with three doubles, six home runs, 15 RBI, seven walks, three stolen bases and 15 runs. • Wins third straight start
Taillon (7-4) allowed three runs on seven hits and struck out three without walking a batter over 5.2 innings to earn the win Sunday over the Cardinals.

Advice: Taillon came an out shy of his seventh straight quality start, but he was still able to capture his third win in a row. He's also given up a home run in six straight starts, as Alec Burleson tagged him for a solo shot in the sixth inning. Taillon is now at a 3.10 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 75:18 K:BB through 93 innings over 16 starts this season. Rotowire.com Sunday, 3:45 pm
    • Taillon survives in win over Cardinals
Jameson Taillon allowed three runs on seven hits in 5 2/3 innings in a win over the Cardinals on Sunday.

Advice: Taillon allowed just two extra-base hits but nine hard-hit baseballs on the day. He posted an underwhelming 13 percent whiff rate and 22 percent CSW on the day, but will certainly take the win. The veteran has a solid 3.10 ERA on the season and could be an attractive name at the trade deadline. He’s a risky streamer against the Diamondbacks on Sunday after the All-Star break, but he’s pitching well enough to take the gamble. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:01 pm
    • Lodolo struggles with command against Miami
Nick Lodolo allowed two runs on three hits in 4 2/3 innings while walking four in a no-decision against the Marlins.

Advice: Lodolo got ahead of hitters often, starting 15 of the 19 batters he faced with a first-pitch strike; however, he struggled to put people away. He did strike out four on the day, but he also had just a 49 percent zone rate overall and had a hard time locating anything other than his fastball. He’ll carry a 3.33 ERA into a start against the Nationals on Sunday after the All-Star break. If he can recapture his command, he should have a solid second half of the season. • Rooker homers twice in win for A’s
Brent Rooker went 2-for-2 with a walk, two home runs, and five RBI for the A’s on Sunday.

Advice: Rooker is now up to 21 home runs on the season while hitting .291/.369/.573 in what has been a dynamic first half of the season. He does have a strikeout rate that hovers around 33 percent, and that swing-and-miss will always lead to some cold stretches, but he has produced more often than not this season and deserves to be on most fantasy rosters while he’s running this hot. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:23 pm
    • Hitting bench Sunday
Garcia is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: After starting in six of the Royals' last seven contests, Garcia will get a breather Sunday in the club's final game before the All-Star break. Utility man Adam Frazier will enter the lineup in Garcia's stead, occupying third base and batting leadoff. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:41 am

    • Settles for no-decision Saturday
Williams allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits and three walks while striking out two batters over five innings in a no-decision against Tampa Bay on Saturday.

Advice: Cleveland scored twice in the top of the fifth frame to give Williams a 2-1 lead, but the righty hurler surrendered a leadoff triple in the bottom of the inning, which the Rays turned into the tying run on an ensuing Guardians error. Williams completed that frame without further damage but couldn't go any deeper, as he racked up 94 pitches. Among his offerings, only six were swinging strikes, and Williams punched out only two batters, but he was successful in keeping Cleveland in the game. After yielding five runs over four frames in his season debut July 3, Williams has surrendered just one earned run across his ensuing two appearances covering 10.1 innings.
