• Will Smith homers again as Dodgers top Brewers
Will Smith homered again on Saturday, powering the Dodgers to a 5-3 victory over the visiting Brewers.

Advice: After homering in each of his final three at-bats on Friday night, Smith left the yard in his fourth straight at-bat with his 369-foot (101.6 mph EV) two-run shot off of Freddy Peralta in the opening inning on Saturday. In doing so, he became just the third player in Dodgers’ history to homer in four straight at-bats, joining Adrian Gonzalez (2015) and Shawn Green (2002). That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the night, but it played a significant role in propelling the Dodgers to victory. On the season, the 29-year-old backstop is now slashing .276/.348/.509 with 15 homers and 55 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:16 pm

  • Kyle Schwarber (groin) will return on Tuesday
Kyle Schwarber (groin) ran the bases at 100 percent on Saturday without issue and will be activated from the injured list on Tuesday.

Advice: Tuesday had been the target all along for the 31-year-old slugger to return and running at full speed on Saturday was the final hurdle that he needed to clear to meet that goal. With Schwarber back on Tuesday and Bryce Harper (hamstring) expected to follow shortly, the Phillies’ offense is getting an awful lot of left-handed power back next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:02 pm

  • Runs bases with no issues
Manager Rob Thomson said Saturday that Harper (hamstring) had a "good day" running the bases and will run the bases again Sunday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Harper has been dealing with a low-grade hamstring strain since June 27 but has been progressing well enough to potentially return prior to the All-Star break. The 31-year-old was participating in on-field drills at 70-75 percent intensity earlier this week and is slated to run the bases again Sunday. Harper becomes eligible to come off the injured list Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:41 pm

  • Bryce Harper (hamstring) runs bases on Saturday
Bryce Harper (hamstring) ran the bases without any issues on Saturday.

Advice: In fact, the session went so well that the 31-year-old superstar is going to repeat the process on Sunday. Kyle Schwarber is expected to be activated from the injured list on Tuesday, and Harper isn’t expected to be far behind him. If Sunday’s session goes well, it’s not out of the question that he could be ready on Tuesday as well. The Phillies’ offense should be getting some strong reinforcements next week. • Sitting versus southpaw
Soderstrom isn't in the Athletics' lineup for Saturday's game against Baltimore.

Advice: Left-hander Cade Povich will start on the mound for the O's, forcing the lefty-hitting Soderstrom into the dugout to begin Saturday's contest. In his place, Armando Alvarez will start at first base and bat fifth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:10 am

  • Four hits in win
Arenado went 4-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in Friday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the Nationals.

Advice: Arenado had one of his best games of the season. Even with his four hits, he remains cold in terms of run production -- he has just two RBI over his last 14 contests. For the year, he's at a .265/.317/.377 slash line with seven home runs, 34 RBI, 32 runs scored, 14 doubles and a stolen base over 81 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:13 am

  • Sitting vs. lefty
Suwinski is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Mets.

Advice: Suwinski went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's series opener, but he will begin Saturday's contest in the dugout with left-hander David Peterson on the mound. Michael Taylor will start in center field and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:16 am

  • Getting Saturday off
Drury isn't in the Angels' lineup for Saturday's game against the Cubs.

Advice: Drury has gone 2-for-14 with three walks and three runs scored since returning from his illness, and he'll catch a breather Saturday while Keston Hiura starts at second base and bats second. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:42 am
