    Advice: Gelof’s home run was his eighth of the season and his third consecutive game with a home run. He’s still just hitting .202 on the season, but the power is starting to show up.     Advice: Rockies manager Bud Black characterized it as a mild strain that’s similar to one he was dealing with earlier this year at Double-A Hartford. We’ll see. Amador went 1-for-3 with a single prior to being lifted from Thursday’s contest against the Dodgers in the eighth inning and could wind up requiring a trip to the injured list if he’s unable to play through the injury.     Manager Bud Black said Amador was removed from Thursday's game against the Dodgers due to a "mild oblique strain," Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazette reports.

    Advice: Amador appeared to be wincing after his at-bat in the seventh inning and was replaced in the field before the eighth frame. The 21-year-old suffered a similar injury earlier in the season while with Double-A Hartford, and it remains to be seen whether he'll require a trip to the injured list.
