    • Three homers in four games
Toglia went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Friday against the White Sox.

Advice: Toglia took Tanner Banks yard in the seventh inning of Friday's game, tallying his third home run in his last four games. He's started 20 consecutive matchups while splitting time between first base and designated hitter. In that span, Toglia has hit .247 with a 31.3 percent strikeout rate, though he's also managed five homers, 15 RBI and 12 runs scored. Rotowire.com 3 minutes ago
    • Ready to return to lineup
Lowe (toe) went 0-for-1 with a strikeout Friday against the Nationals.

Advice: Lowe has been sidelined for five straight games with a fractured pinky toe, and Friday's appearance as a pinch hitter was his first since suffering the injury. However, manager Kevin Cash said that Lowe was physically capable of being a starter, but he remained on the bench due to a matchup against lefty Mitchell Parker, per MLB.com. Lowe wore a protective guard over his right cleat. Rotowire.com 8 minutes ago

    • Sporadic playing time
DeLuca went 2-for-4 with a stolen base Friday against the Nationals.

Advice: DeLuca has been serving as the Rays' fourth outfielder, primarily getting playing time when a lefty is on the mound or when the team shifts Josh Lowe to designated hitter. He's started three of the team's last eight games in that role, though each of those starts came in the last five matchups. DeLuca hasn't made a strong case for more playing time by hitting just .163 across 138 plate appearances, though he did manage his sixth stolen base of the year Friday. • Zac Gallen (hamstring) starting Saturday vs. A’s
Zac Gallen (hamstring) will start on Saturday against the Athletics.

Advice: Arizona manager Torey Lovullo confirmed late Friday that Gallen will take the ball for Saturday’s showdown against the Athletics after making it through a bullpen session earlier this week without any issues just a couple days after tossing a 67-pitch simulated game. The 28-year-old righty has been out since suffering a Grade 1 right hamstring strain back on May 30. It’s obviously an extremely favorable matchup for fantasy purposes and there shouldn’t be any limitations from a workload standpoint for Gallen in his return from the injured list. • Max Muncy (oblique) resumes swinging
Max Muncy (oblique) progressed to taking swings off a tee earlier this week.

Advice: Muncy isn’t eligible to return from the 60-day injured list until after the All-Star break in a couple weeks, but he’s starting to make some progress towards a second-half return. The veteran corner infielder’s recovery from a right oblique strain that he suffered back in mid-May has gone much slower than originally anticipated, and it’s certainly had a negative impact on the Dodgers’ overall offensive output. • Takes tough loss Friday
Miller (4-6) allowed three runs on three hits across an inning of work and took the loss Friday against the Angels. He struck out two.

Advice: Miller allowed two hits but had a chance to escape the eighth inning with no damage before he allowed a two-out, three-run home run to Logan O'Hoppe. The veteran righty had been pitching well this month with a 2.25 ERA across seven appearances, so this likely is just a blip on the radar. However, Miller does now have a subpar 4.62 ERA overall, which he'll work on lowering in the coming weeks. Rotowire.com 22 minutes ago
    • Effective in team debut
Lopez worked around a hit to toss a scoreless inning of relief in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Lopez had his contract selected from Triple-A Iowa before the game, and he proceeded to make his team debut right away. The righty was dumped by the Mets earlier this year, and he struggled to a 5.95 ERA last season with three different teams, but he was an effective reliever as recently as 2022. If Lopez can get back to that form with the Cubs, he could establish a regular role in their bullpen. Rotowire.com 27 minutes ago
    • Luis Arraez returns to lineup Friday vs. Red Sox
Luis Arraez (hand) returned to the lineup for Friday’s game against the Red Sox.

Advice: Arraez wound up sitting out just one contest after suffering a hand injury earlier this week. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern moving forward for fantasy managers, but we’re contractually obligated to note it here. Rotoworld 27 minutes ago

    • Goes deep in loss
Suzuki went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Suzuki also struck out three times in the contest, but he salvaged his night with his 10th home run of the season through 83 team games. The outfielder has played in 57 of those contests, as he missed some time with an oblique injury. If Suzuki stays healthy in the back half of the year, he could make a run at surpassing last year's career-best total of 20 home runs. Rotowire.com 31 minutes ago
