      Hader allowed a solo home run and a walk with three strikeouts during Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Rockies.

      Advice: Hader stepped into the game for the ninth inning despite not being eligible for the save and gave up his first home run since June 9 to Michael Toglia. After a shaky start to 2024, Hader owns a 2.25 ERA with 30 strikeouts and eight saves over his last 19 appearances. He's also walking batters at his lowest clip since 2019, with 2.4 BB/9 in 2024.       Spence (4-4) took the loss Tuesday, allowing six runs on eight hits and a walk across 5.1 innings against the Angels. He struck out six.

      Advice: Spence surrendered his most runs in an outing this season Tuesday, with five of those runs coming in the fourth inning. The rookie right-hander allowed the first four batters he faced in the fourth to reach safely before Mickey Moniak cleared the bases with a grand slam. While Spence has been a bit inconsistent as a starter, he owns a 4.40 ERA in starts along with a 34:9 K:BB over 43.0 innings. He's projected for a rematch against the Angels early next week.       Wilson (5-3) picked up the win Tuesday against the Rangers, allowing three hits with no walks across six scoreless innings. He struck out four.

      Advice: For the fourth time in his last six appearances, Wilson worked in bulk relief, taking the mound in the third inning after Hoby Milner opened the contest. Still, Wilson was able to complete six innings for the first time since May 6 as part of his best outing as a Brewer. The 26-year-old has been incredibly volatile across his last four appearances, yielding at least five runs twice but giving up no runs in the other pair of games. Overall, Wilson owns a 3.89 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP over 74.0 innings. While it's unclear if he'll follow an opener again, he's on track to pitch in Colorado early next week. The right-hander has failed to last five frames in five of his past eight outings, so the strategy could improve his chances of qualifying for a victory.       Megill earned a save against Texas on Monday, striking out two batters in a scoreless ninth inning.

      Advice: Megill hit a batter with two outs in his inning of work, but it didn't cost him any runs. The right-hander was able to notch his 10th straight successful save conversion -- he hasn't blown an opportunity since May 20. Megill has proven to be a more-than-adequate fill-in for rehabbing closer Devin Williams (back), as he's tied for eighth in MLB with 16 saves (in 17 opportunities) while posting a 1.85 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 30:7 K:BB through 24.1 innings.     • Trevor Megill records 16th save for Brewers
      Trevor Megill was perfect in the ninth in earning his 16th save Monday against the Rangers.

      Advice: Remember when it was Abner Uribe and then Joel Payamps getting saves for the Brewers. Megill didn’t earn his first until Apr. 25, so all 16 of his have come in a two-month span. Rotoworld Monday, 9:15 pm

      Pivetta took a no-decision Saturday against Cincinnati, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out five batters over 4.1 innings.

      Advice: All three of the runs allowed by Pivetta came via the long ball -- Spencer Steer tagged him for a two-run homer in the first inning, and Elly De La Cruz launched a solo shot in the third. Pivetta didn't damage his ERA too dramatically, but he exited after 4.1 innings after racking up 96 pitches. It was the third time over his past six starts that he's failed to complete five frames, though the right-hander also has a pair of seven-inning quality starts during that span.     • Pivetta allows three in no-decision against Reds
      Nick Pivetta allowed three runs in 4 1/3 innings and got a no-decision against the Reds on Saturday.

      Advice: Pivetta gave up six hits, walked one and struck out five. He was on the hook for the loss before a late comeback by the Red Sox offense. It was another pedestrian start from Pivetta that might be becoming a trend. In his first eight starts of the year, he had 51 strikeouts in 42 1/3 innings. In his last three starts, he’s had just 13 strikeouts in 15 1/3 innings. The 31-year-old right-hander is set to face the Padres at home next weekend.
