      Bryson Stott, who didn’t start Monday, went 0-for-4 in the loss to the Giants on Tuesday.

      Advice: Stott has run extremely hot and cold this season, posting a .559 OPS over his first 25 games and a 1.242 OPS over his subsequent 18 games. Now he’s back in another drought, having gone 2-for-28 in his last eight games. The good news is that he’s struck out just three times during that span.       Davis Schneider went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI in Tuesday’s win over the White Sox.

      Advice: Schneider doubled to kick off the game, but his second double, which came in the second inning, drove in two runs to give the Blue Jays an early 3-0 lead. He would add another RBI in the sixth inning on a sacrifice fly to score George Springer, upping his RBI total to 28 on the season. Schneider is hitting a solid .255 on the year and is slashing .250/.368/.487 this month. While he’s not hitting for an overly high average, he’s offered decent power and an ability to drive in runs.       Advice: Monday's home run was Schneider's first since May 18. Over that span, the 25-year-old has batted just .194 with seven RBI and five runs scored. Even so, Schneider has batted leadoff in eight of the last nine games for the Blue Jays and should continue to see everyday at bats.       Davis Schneider slugged a two-run homer on Monday in the Blue Jays’ win over the White Sox.

      Advice: Schneider supplied a pair of insurance runs for Toronto with a ninth-inning blast off veteran reliever John Brebbia. It was his fifth round-tripper of the season and first time he’s left the yard since back on May 17. His struggles from the middle of the order this month have led the Reds to the cellar in the NL Central, though it's certainly not all his fault.       Spencer Steer homered for the second consecutive game on Saturday, helping to power the Reds to a 3-1 victory over the visiting Dodgers.

      Advice: Steer got the scoring started in the opening inning on Saturday, crushing a 362-foot (94.9 mph EV) solo shot off of Walker Buehler. After drawing a walk in the fifth inning, he drove in a run with a double in the fifth to cut the Tigers lead to one run.
