    • Big day against Houston
Verdugo went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in Tuesday's 10-3 win over the Astros.

Advice: The 27-year-old got the rout started for the Yankees by launching a three-run homer off Justin Verlander in the bottom of the first inning. Verdugo has gone yard three times in his last eight games while batting .324 (11-for-34), and the surge has boosted his slash line on the season to .275/.362/.450 with five homers, one steal, 17 RBI and 19 runs in 34 contests. • Alex Verdugo drives in four in win over Astros
Alex Verdugo went 3-for-5 with a homer and four RBI in a 10-3 win over the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: The home run was Verdugo’s fifth on the season and he now has 17 RBI. The big fly wasn’t a Yankee Stadium blast either, with Verdugo hitting it 383 feet at 107.4 mph off the bat. While many expected a power boost for Verdugo moving to Yankee Stadium, he has just a 3.8 percent barrel rate and his lowest fly ball rate since 2021. His HR/FB rate is up, so Verdugo could easily surpass his 13 home runs from last year, but he’s unlikely to see a major surge. Still, his walk rate is the highest it’s ever been and he’s slashing .275/.362/.450 on the season, which will give him fantasy value if he keeps hitting cleanup behind Juan Soto and Aaron Judge. • Sitting again Tuesday
Soler (shoulder) isn't in the Giants' lineup for Tuesday's game against Colorado, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Although Soler's shoulder injury has now kept him out of the lineup for three consecutive games, the Giants have not said anything that would suggest a future move to the IL for the 32-year-old slugger. His absence Tuesday will allow Wilmer Flores to serve as the designated hitter and bat fifth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:24 pm

    • Jorge Soler (shoulder) out Tuesday vs. Rockies
Jorge Soler (shoulder) remains absent from the lineup for Tuesday’s contest against the Rockies.

Advice: It’s a tough break for fantasy managers as Soler will wind up missing an extremely favorable matchup against Rockies righty Dakota Hudson at Coors Field. The 32-year-old righty has been out since last weekend due to right shoulder soreness. He remains day-to-day for now. It’s possible he’ll be available off the bench, but that remains to be seen. It’ll be Wilmer Flores at designated hitter in his absence. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:22 pm

    • Remains on bench Monday
Soler (shoulder) is out of the lineup for Monday's game in Philadelphia, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Soler will be on the bench for a second straight game while he tends to a shoulder injury. With Soler out of the lineup, LaMonte Wade will get a day off at first base and will serve as the Giants' designated hitter. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:02 am

    • Jorge Soler (shoulder) remains out on Monday
Jorge Soler (shoulder) is not in the Giants lineup on Monday against the Phillies.

Advice: It’s the second straight missed game for Soler, who is battling shoulder discomfort. It doesn’t seem like a major concern, but it is certainly something to think about for fantasy managers in weekly lineup lock leagues. Lamonte Wade Jr. will DH for the Giants on Monday with Wilmer Flores getting the start at first base against a right-handed pitcher. Tyler Fitzgerald is also playing shortstop as Nick Ahmed gets a regular day off. Rotoworld Monday, 10:01 am

    • Provides lone run in loss
Ozuna went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Ozuna was the only Atlanta player with multiple hits as well as the only one with an extra-base hit in Sunday's loss. He took James Paxton deep to right center in the seventh for his first long ball since April 21. He's now back tied atop the leaderboard with 10 home runs on the year and leads all of baseball with 33 RBI. Ozuna is slashing .306/.382/.603 with 16 extra-base hits, 21 runs and a 15:27 BB:K in 136 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:42 am

    • Dealing with shoulder issue
Soler was out of the lineup Sunday versus the Phillies due to a shoulder issue, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Soler is considered day-to-day, which suggests the injury isn't too severe. Wilmer Flores got the start at designated hitter Sunday and could continue to play there if Soler isn't available for Monday's series finale in Philadelphia. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:22 pm

    • Ozuna has two hits, HR in loss to Dodgers
Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Dodgers on Sunday.

Advice: Ozuna’s home run was a 373-foot shot at 104.3 mph off the bat. It was the Braves’ only extra-base hit of the night. Ozuna now has 10 home runs and 33 RBI on the season while slashing .306/.382/.603 and has been the team’s best hitter this season. Rotoworld Sunday, 5:24 pm
