He also managed to collect his ninth and tenth RBI as a Padre with a two-run RBI knock in the eighth inning. The right-hander was able to at least pick up some punchouts, but that’s the end of the positives. Fedde was outstanding last week with 6 1/3 innings of scoreless baseball against Baltimore, but he’s just not good enough to rely on consistent results.       Advice: The Padres had just two extra-base hits, both of which were doubles, and two walks tonight, but they collected 16 singles and went an incredible 11-for-18 with RISP. The team is officially labeling his injury as "soreness" for now, but the Jays should have a better idea of what Romano is dealing with ahead of Saturday's contest. The second baseman's hit safely in six straight games, and since May 13 he's slashing .313/.375/.391. Albies still isn't providing much power -- he hasn't homered in 19 straight games and has only three long balls on the year -- but he has contributed four steals, 25 runs and 25 RBI through 46 contests.       Ozzie Albies reached three times and stole a base in a loss Thursday to the Nationals.

      Advice: Albies doubled, singled and drew a walk to complete that three-reach game. The stolen base is the fourth for the 27-year-old, and it’s possible we see him take off more often over the final 100-plus games of the season, but far from a guarantee.
