    • Moves to paternity list
The Rockies placed Lawrence on the paternity list Friday.

Advice: Lawrence will step away from the team for a few days to be with his growing family. Angel Chivilli was called up in a corresponding move, while Jake Bird and Nick Mears are the likely favorites to serve as fill-in closer if any save chances arise this weekend. • Justin Lawrence heads to paternity list
Rockies placed RHP Justin Lawrence on the paternity list.

Advice: Lawrence will be away from the club for the next few days on paernity leave. The 29-year-old righty has a pair of saves this season to go along with a calamitous 7.20 ERA, 1.80 WHIP and 10/5 K/BB ratio across 10 innings (11 appearances). Rotoworld Thursday, 5:27 pm

    • Expected to go on paternity list
The Rockies are set to place Lawrence on the paternity list for Colorado's upcoming series against Pittsburgh, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Advice: With Lawrence expected to miss the upcoming series, the Rockies will likely turn to Jake Bird for save situations. Lawrence has two saves over 11 games this season with a 7.20 ERA and 1.80 WHIP over 10 innings. Right-hander Angel Chivilli is expected to be called up from Double-A Hartford due to Lawrence being on the paternity list. Rotowire.com Thursday, 5:25 pm

    • Goes five outs for save
Munoz completed a five-out save in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Atlanta, allowing a hit and a walk while striking out three in the process.

Advice: Munoz was forced into the game a bit earlier than expected after Ryne Stanek allowed three base hits to turn things into a 3-1 ballgame. Munoz did allow an inherited runner to score on a throwing error but was dominant otherwise and retired the side in order in the ninth with two strikeouts. Tuesday was the fourth time this season Munoz has pitched more than three outs and it was the third consecutive save he's converted, with all three coming over the last five days. The 25-year-old now owns a 2.25 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 16:7 K:BB in 12 innings thus far. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 4:06 am
    • AndrĂ©s Muñoz gets five-out save against ATL
Andrés Muñoz pitched the final 1 2/3 innings to get a save against Atlanta on Tuesday.

Advice: Muñoz did allow an inherited runner to score with a throwing error. After that snafu the right-hander was absolutely dominant while picking up three strikeouts along with his fifth save of the season. Muñoz does have occasional hiccups with his command, but there aren’t many pitchers in baseball who have better swing-and-miss stuff. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:47 pm
    • Stuck with first blown save
Lawrence was tagged with a blown save in Tuesday's loss to the Marlins, allowing two runs on two hits and a walk in one-third of an inning.

Advice: After Ryan Feltner allowed the first three Marlins to reach in the ninth, Lawrence would be called upon to protect a 5-1 lead with runners on second and third. The right-hander ultimately recorded just one out, allowing Miami to tie the game 5-5 in his first blown save this season. Lawrence had allowed just one unearned run in his previous five outings, earning saves in his previous two appearances. His ERA is now up to an ugly 7.20 with a 1.80 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB through 10 innings this season. Despite his struggles, Lawrence is still likely the top ninth-inning option in Colorado, though he's unlikely to see a high volume of save chances on a Rockies team that's now 7-22 on the year. • AJ Minter allows walk-off homer to blow save
AJ Minter blew a save by allowing two runs without recording an out Monday against Seattle while picking up a loss.

Advice: Minter was handed a one-run lead, and the southpaw allowed a base hit to Jorge Polanco before Mitch Garver took the southpaw deep on a 3-2 pitch to give Seattle the win. Minter has been an excellent high-leverage option for Atlanta, but this one will hurt fantasy managers who have the 30-year-old on the roster. Rotoworld Monday, 9:15 pm

    • Nabs fifth win
Minter (5-1) picked up the win in Sunday's victory over the Guardians, giving up one hit in a scoreless 10th inning.

Advice: The 30-year-old southpaw has already tied his career high in wins, needing only 14 appearances to do it -- he had five wins in 75 appearances in 2022. Minter has been brilliant in his high-leverage role to begin the season, posting a 1.32 ERA, 0.59 WHIP and 15:1 K:BB through 13.2 innings while adding three holds to his ledger. • Perfect for fourth save
Romano earned the save Sunday against the Dodgers, striking out two over a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Romano converted on his fourth straight save attempt to start the campaign, pitching his second perfect inning in six appearances. After missing the first few weeks of the season with an elbow injury, Romano has shown no rust, owning a 3.18 ERA and a 0.88 WHIP through 5.2 frames. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:57 pm
