Suzuki's game doesn't jump off the page, though he's been a steady contributor since he came over from Japan in 2022.       Trevor Rogers allowed three runs over six innings on Thursday in a no-decision against the Phillies.

      Advice: Rogers completed six innings for the fourth time in his last five starts and threw 103 pitches (57 strikes), his most in a single start since May 14, 2022.       Advice: Suzuki drove in a run with his triple in the third to give Chicago a 3-0 cushion. He’s now tripled twice in 2024, while the double was his 11th of the campaign.       Jones isn't listed among the Pirates' probable starting pitchers for this weekend's series in Atlanta, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.

      Advice: Jones will thus go the entire week without making a start, much to the chagrin of fantasy managers in weekly leagues who chose to keep him active. Gorman notes that general manager Ben Cherington has previously said that while the Pirates don't intend to shut Jones or fellow rookie phenom Paul Skenes down at any point this season, both pitchers will have their respective workloads managed to some degree as the campaign unfolds. Jones isn't dealing with any sort of injury, so the Pirates appear to have simply chosen this week as an opportunity to build in more recovery for the right-hander, who has logged 86 innings through his first 15 big-league starts.       Advice: Fedde got off to a rough start, surrendering a leadoff home run to Shohei Ohtani to open the game before getting tagged for another three runs in the third. The right-handed veteran would allow just one more hit over his final three frames, but the damage had already been done as the White Sox's offense failed to provide any run support. Fedde has now gone at least six innings in four consecutive starts and hasn't walked more than one batter in any of his six outings this month.       Advice: Helsley allowed two runs in Monday's game versus Atlanta, but he was able to keep his save streak going. The right-hander has converted his last 28 save attempts after blowing his first chance of the year. He's now at a 2.75 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 43:16 K:BB through 36 innings. Helsley has allowed six hits and issued 10 walks over 11 innings in June, but he's been scored on in just two of his 11 appearances this month, so his place as the Cardinals' closer is not in doubt.
