    Finnegan picked up the save Sunday against Colorado, allowing two hits with two strikeouts across a scoreless ninth inning.

    Advice: After blowing the save Saturday night on a pitch clock violation with the bases loaded -- the first time that's happened since MLB introduced the pitch clock -- Finnegan was able to convert for his 22nd save of the campaign Sunday. However, he flirted with danger as Ryan McMahon and Brendan Rodgers hit back-to-back singles to start the final half-inning. Finnegan kept the game-tying run at second and retired three straight to close out the contest. The 32-year-old trails only Ryan Helsley and Emmanuel Clase for the most saves in baseball.     Kyle Finnegan recorded his 22nd save in a 2-1 win over the Rockies on Sunday.

    Advice: It was not without drama, which is par for the course with Finnegan’s saves. He allowed back-to-back singles to start the inning, but then got Nolan Jones to strike out, Hunter Goodman to fly out, and caught Michael Toglia looking to end the game. Finnegan has a 2.23 ERA on the season but could lose a significant amount of fantasy value if he gets traded at the deadline.   • Kyle Finnegan melts down in blown save vs. Rockies
    Kyle Finnegan was charged with two runs and failed to record an out on Saturday in an ugly blown save against the Rockies.

    Advice: Finnegan was saddled with a loss in the ninth inning after failing to hold a one-run lead at Coors Field. It was his first blown save since May 18. He gave up four consecutive hits to open the frame, including a game-tying single to Brenton Doyle, before handing out a bases-loaded free pass to Ryan McMahon to push across the game-winning run.     Blanco (8-2) allowed one run on four hits and three walks while striking out four over seven innings to earn the win over the Orioles on Saturday.

    Advice: Blanco wasn't as dominant as he was with seven no-hit innings last weekend versus the Tigers, but it was still an impressive showing. He's allowed just two runs over 20 innings across his last three starts after giving up four runs in each of his two outings before this stretch of dominance. The right-hander continues to thrive in his first full year as a starter, pitching to a 2.34 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 79:35 K:BB through 84.2 innings over 14 starts.   • Ronel Blanco holds O’s to one run over seven
    Ronel Blanco allowed one run in seven innings to get a win Saturday over the Orioles.

    Advice: Blanco gave up a homer to Jordan Westburg in the second inning, but it was smooth sailing for the right-hander from that point on. He did put three runners on via walk, but he was able to strike out four and limited the loaded Baltimore lineup at an impressive level. Blanco has been one of the biggest bright spots for the Astros in 2024, and he’ll take a 2.34 ERA into a scheduled start against the Mets next weekend. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:29 pm

    Duran (3-3) allowed two runs on two hits and struck out one over one inning Friday, taking the loss and a blown save versus the Athletics.

    Advice: Duran served up a two-run home run to Shea Langeliers after being called upon to protect a 5-4 lead in the eighth inning. This was Duran's first blown save of the year -- he's converted 11 saves and added four holds over 24 appearances. The closer has a 3.91 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 21:8 K:BB through 23 innings.   • Jhoan Duran blows save in eighth against A’s
    Jhoan Duran blew a save while allowing two runs and also picked up a loss to the A’s on Friday.

    Advice: Duran has lost three games in 2024, but this was technically his first blown save of the year. The right-hander came in during the eighth, but gave up a hit to Daz Cameron and then a two-run blast to Shea Langeliers.     Finnegan struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Wednesday to record his 21st save of the season in a 3-1 win over Arizona.

    Advice: The right-hander breezed through the Diamondbacks' 5-6-7 hitters on 14 pitches (11 strikes) en route to his eighth straight successful conversion. Finnegan has put together the best first half of his career with a 1.72 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 33:10 K:BB through 31.1 innings, but if the Nats fall out of the wild-card picture, he figures to become one of the team's biggest trade chips given that he has just one more year of arbitration eligibility in 2025 before reaching free agency.     Kyle Finnegan slammed the door on the Diamondbacks in the ninth inning on Wednesday, retiring all three hitters that he faced to preserve a two-run advantage.

    Advice: Finnegan picked up his 21st save of the season for his efforts. The 32-year-old hurler made things look easy in this one, getting Joc Pederson on a ground ball to first and then striking out Eugenio Suarez and Gabriel Moreno to end it. While his job security was shaky heading into the season, Finnegan has been an absolute monster for fantasy managers this season, posting a 1.72 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and a 33/10 K/BB ratio over 31 1/3 innings of work while converting 21 of his 23 save chances and chipping in two victories for good measure.
