• Blasts homer Tuesday
Gorman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Reds.

Advice: Gorman has four homers, two steals, eight RBI and eight runs scored over his last nine games, batting .321 (9-for-28) in that span. It's a good run of consistency at the plate for the infielder, who has struggled to put it all together at times this season. He's at a .214/.306/.428 slash line with nine long balls, 23 RBI, 21 runs scored and two steals through 47 contests overall while holding down a starting role at second base. • Delivers two RBI in win
India went 1-for-4 with a stolen base, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: India helped the Reds sweep the weekend series against the Dodgers by delivering a two-out, two-run single as part of Cincinnati's four-run third inning. He then swiped his fifth base, putting himself in scoring position to cross the plate on a Nick Martini single. India went 4-for-10 in the three-game sweep with two extra-base hits and six RBI. • Homers again Saturday
Steer went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: He touched up Walker Buehler in the first inning to give the Reds an early lead. As Mark Sheldon of MLB.com notes, Steer has now gone deep in back-to-back games after entering the series without a homer since May 1 (17 games). His struggles from the middle of the order this month have led the Reds to the cellar in the NL Central, though it's certainly not all his fault. Steer sits with a .227/.341/.403 line with six homers, 35 RBI, 25 runs scored and 11 steals through 50 games this season. Rotowire.com Sunday, 1:50 am

  • Swipes bag in win
Gorman went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and two runs scored in Saturday's 7-6 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Gorman's game is more power than speed, but he's done a little of both with three home runs and two steals over his last six contests. Those two thefts account for his season total. The second baseman is slashing .215/.308/.423 with eight homers, 21 RBI, 20 runs scored and seven doubles over 169 plate appearances on the year. He's not making a lot of contact; his 35.5 percent strikeout rate is an anchor on the rest of his stat line. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:13 pm

  • Spencer Steer homers again as Reds top Dodgers
Spencer Steer homered for the second consecutive game on Saturday, helping to power the Reds to a 3-1 victory over the visiting Dodgers.

Advice: Steer got the scoring started in the opening inning on Saturday, crushing a 362-foot (94.9 mph EV) solo shot off of Walker Buehler. That would wind up being his only hit in four at-bats on the night. On the season, the versatile 26-year-old is slashing .227/.341/.403 with six long balls and 35 RBI. Rotoworld Saturday, 6:57 pm

  • Pops third homer
Triolo went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run Friday against Atlanta.

Advice: Triolo has struggled at the plate for much of the season, though Friday's long ball was his second in his last seven games. He's also hit .280 with four runs scored and six RBI in that span. So long as Ke'Bryan Hayes (back) is sidelined, Triolo should remain the primary starter at third base for Pittsburgh. • Knocks fifth home run
Steer went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer, a walk and two runs scored in Friday's win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Steer got the Reds' offense started with a three-run blast in the first inning. He snapped a 17-game homerless drought, during which he'd posted an unsightly .527 OPS. Despite a terrific start to 2024 (1.264 OPS through 11 games), Steer now owns a .227/.343/.390 slash line with 17 extra-base hits through 204 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:06 pm

  • Jonathan India with three hits, grand-slam in win
Jonathan India went 3-for-3 with a home run, double, four RBI, walk, and run scored in the Reds 9-6 win over the Dodgers on Friday.

Advice: India could not be stopped in this one. His fifth inning grand slam put the Reds ahead and he did not record an out. That homer was his first extra-base hit since May 7th and this was first game all season with multiple XBH. He’d been dropped in the order after his poor start but this game could offer a welcome sign of life. Rotoworld Friday, 7:57 pm

  • Drives in four runs
India went 3-for-3 with a grand slam, a double and a walk in Friday's win over the Dodgers.

Advice: India's fifth-inning grand slam capped off a six-run frame and proved to be the deciding factor in the victory. The 27-year-old was 8-for-46 (.174) with no extra-base hits over his previous 14 contests before Friday's big performance. He has just eight extra-base hits (three home runs) with a .653 OPS through 44 games this season. Rotowire.com Friday, 7:55 pm
