Stone (7-2) earned the win over the Yankees on Saturday, allowing two runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out six batters over 5.2 innings.

Advice: It looked like Stone could be in for a rough outing after he allowed singles to the first two batters he faced in the first inning, but he recovered to retire Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton and Anthony Rizzo without allowing a run to score. The right-hander allowed New York to plate one run in each of the following two frames, but he was able to navigate through 5.2 innings with just those two runs on his ledger. Stone needed some help when he departed with two outs and the bases full of Yankees in the sixth, and Alex Vesia provided that assistance by getting Anthony Volpe to fly out to end the threat. Stone has recorded a victory in seven of his past 10 starts and has given up more than two runs just once during that span. He's shining in his first full big-league season, recording a 2.93 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 53:21 K:BB through 67.2 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:27 pm
    • Tallies three hits in victory
Blackmon went 3-for-4 with a double, a walk, two runs and a stolen base in a 6-5 win against the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: Blackmon catalyzed Colorado's offense from the leadoff spot, scoring the team's first run following a first-inning single and crossing the plate again after hitting a double and stealing third base in the seventh. The veteran outfielder has been swinging a hot bat of late, notching three multi-hit performances over his past four contests and going 9-for-16 overall during that span. Blackmon has also swiped a bag in each of his past two games and already has five thefts this season, more than he has collected in any campaign since he swiped 12 bags in 2018. • Gavin Stone holds Yankees to two runs in victory
Gavin Stone limited the Yankees to just two runs over 5 1/3 innings to get a win Saturday.

Advice: Things didn’t start particularly well for Stone, as he gave up a run in the second and then a solo homer in the third. After that, the 25-year-old held the Yankees off the board while picking up his seventh win of the season. He allowed eight hits, but he also struck out six while seeing his ERA bump up slightly to 2.93. Stone is another example of players who struggle in the first go-around who provide fantasy relevance. He gets the Royals next week, barring a change in the rotation order. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:04 pm
    • Blackmon has three hits, stolen base Saturday
Charlie Blackmon went 3-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored, a double and a stolen base against the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: The stolen base was Blackmon’s fifth of the season. He’s hitting just .259 with two home runs this year, but figures to continue to see a decent amount of playing time because, well, it’s the Rockies. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:56 pm

    • Clayton Kershaw tabbed for one more simulated game
Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) is scheduled to throw one more three-inning simulated game before beginning a minor league rehab assignment.

Advice: Kershaw threw a two-inning simulated game at Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on Friday without any issue, touching 90 mph during the session. If all goes well with his next simulated game, he would then be cleared to start a minor league rehab assignment. He still looks to be on track for a return around the All-Star break. • Eddie Rosario drives in three run in win
Eddie Rosario went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI against the Braves on Saturday.

Advice: Rosario put the Nationals on the board in the first inning with a two-run double off Charlie Morton. He drove in a third run in the fifth with a base hit. The 32-year-old outfielder is slashing .188/.245/.365 with seven home runs, 23 RBI, and eight steals across 185 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:43 pm

    • One more sim game before assignment
Kershaw (shoulder) will throw a three-inning simulated game next week and then start a rehab assignment, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports Saturday.

Advice: Kershaw completed a two-inning sim game Friday -- his second simulated game of June -- and will throw another one next week before being sent off to a rehab assignment. The veteran lefty touched 90 mph Friday and is ahead of schedule in his recovery from November shoulder surgery. Still, Kershaw will likely require a handful of rehab starts before rejoining the big-league roster, making a July return feasible. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:27 pm

    • Battling back soreness
Marte was scratched from Arizona's lineup Saturday due to lower-back soreness, Jody Jackson of Bally Sports Arizona reports.

Advice: Marte appeared to tweak something in his back during Friday's contest, and he'll sit down Saturday as a precaution. He is available off the bench, however, so his injury likely isn't a major issue. Blaze Alexander will start at second base and bat sixth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:43 pm

    • Scratched from lineup
Marte (undisclosed) was scratched from Arizona's lineup ahead of Saturday's game versus the Padres.

Advice: The Diamondbacks have not yet provided a reason for Marte's removal from the lineup, but they should offer some clarity relatively soon. Blaze Alexander will enter as the replacement second baseman while batting sixth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:27 pm
