    • LaMonte Wade Jr. exits game with leg injury
LaMonte Wade Jr., who has been dealing with a left hamstring issue, left Monday’s game in the fifth inning with an apparent left leg injury.

Advice: Wade awkwardly slammed his left leg into the bag sliding into second on a double, but it looked like he might have tweaked the hamstring prior to that. He had his arm around the trainer as he walked off, so this could be more than a day-to-day kind of thing this time. If he lands on the IL, the Giants will probably turn to Wilmer Flores at first base. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:43 pm

    • Exits game with knee injury
Wade was lifted from Monday's game against the Phillies with an apparent left knee injury, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Wade doubled off the wall in the bottom of the fifth inning but came up lame and had to be removed for a pinch-runner. He had missed the previous two games with a hamstring issue, but it would appear this is unrelated. The Giants should have more on Wade soon. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:42 pm

    • Returns to action Monday
Wade (hamstring) will start at first base and bat second in Monday's game versus the Phillies.

Advice: Wade had to exit a game this past Friday after tweaking his hamstring, causing him to miss the next two contests. He's feeling well enough to give it a go in this one, though, as the Giants take on right-hander Taijuan Walker and the Phillies. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:09 am

    • Powers team with two homers
Goldschmidt went 2-for-4 with a pair of two-run home runs in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Goldschmidt opened up the scoring with a 424-foot two-run shot off Javier Assad in the third. He then followed up with another two-run blast in the fifth to put the Cardinals up 4-0, which was enough for them to hold onto the win. In 12 games since May 12, the 36-year-old is slashing .308/.357/.596 with four home runs, 10 RBI and nine runs scored. Sunday also marked his first multi-homer game since May 23, 2023. Despite his strong form of late, Goldschmidt is still underdelivering for fantasy managers on the whole this season, slashing .222/.298/.345 with six home runs, 21 RBI, 25 runs and three stolen bases across 215 plate appearances. • Paul Goldschmidt powers Cardinals past Cubs
Paul Goldschmidt clobbered a pair of two-run homers on Sunday night, powering the Cardinals to a 4-3 victory over the visiting Cubs.

Advice: The 36-year-old slugger opened the scoring in the ballgame with a 424-foot (110.0 mph EV) two-run shot off of Javier Assad in the third inning. He then repeated the process in the fifth inning — that time a 399-foot (104.3 mph) two-run bomb. Goldschmidt finished the evening 2-for-4, raising his season-slash to a still disappointing .222/.298/.345 to go along with six homers, 21 RBI and three stolen bases. • Alec Burleson collects two hits in win on Sunday
Alec Burleson went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles and a run scored as the Cardinals triumphed over the Cubs on Sunday evening.

Advice: Burleson smacked a one-out single off of Javier Assad in the third inning, then rode home on Paul Goldschmidt’s first two-run homer of the night. With his two-hit effort, the 25-year-old outfielder is now hitting a robust .309/.338/.460 with five long balls, 17 RBI and a pair of stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Sunday, 9:20 pm

    • Return date uncertain
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Friday that Muncy is still feeling his oblique strain and will proceed cautiously, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: Roberts had previously indicated that Muncy could start a rehab assignment soon with a potential return to the Dodgers coming next week, though he backed off on that statement Friday. The third baseman began doing some work in the field Tuesday, but Roberts indicated that Muncy won't progress to hitting off a tee until the team feels he's fully recovered. With that in mind, it seems unlikely that Muncy will be ready to return to the big club until at least early June. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:40 pm

    • Lamonte Wade Jr. (hamstring) out Sunday
LaMonte Wade Jr. (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Mets.

Advice: Wade Jr. will miss Sunday’s game after leaving Wednesday’s contest with a hamstring issue. The Giants will start Ryan McKenna in right field while Wade Jr. is out. He should be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld Sunday, 8:07 am

    • Absent from lineup Sunday
Wade (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets

Advice: Wade tweaked his hamstring in the ninth inning of San Fransisco's 8-7 win over the Mets on Friday, and he'll be out of the lineup for the second straight game as the two clubs finish up their series. Wilmer Flores will fill in at first base for Wade and will bat fifth. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:04 am
