    • LaMonte Wade Jr. likely to go IL due to hamstring
LaMonte Wade Jr. has a strained left hamstring and will undergo an MRI on Tuesday.

Advice: Expectations are that Wade will go on the injured list. That’ll probably make Wilmer Flores the Giants’ primary first baseman for at least a couple of weeks. Tyler Fitzgerald or David Villar are candidates to join the Giants in his place. Rotoworld Monday, 5:20 pm

    • Charlie Blackmon homers, doubles twice in win
Charlie Blackmon homered, doubled twice and drove in four runs to lead the Rockies to an 8-6 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Definitely the best game of the year for Blackmon, who also made a fine sliding catch in foul territory down the right field line. The homer was his second in 173 plate appearances. He’s currently batting .237/.312/.378, which isn’t at all good for a Coors Field player lacking much in the way of defensive value. Still, the Rockies are going to keep playing him the majority of the time. Rotoworld Monday, 5:16 pm

    • Diagnosed with hamstring injury
Wade left Monday's game against the Phillies due to a left hamstring strain, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Wade appeared to be grabbing his left knee before exiting Monday's game, but after further evaluation, it's been determined that he's dealing with a hamstring issue. The team has yet to comment further on whether a trip to the 10-day injured list will be required, but it seems likely given the nature of the injury, along with the fact that Wade will undergo an MRI on Tuesday, according to Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic. Wilmer Flores would be in line for more chances at first base if Wade misses additional time. Rotowire.com Monday, 4:41 pm

    • LaMonte Wade Jr. exits game with leg injury
LaMonte Wade Jr., who has been dealing with a left hamstring issue, left Monday’s game in the fifth inning with an apparent left leg injury.

Advice: Wade awkwardly slammed his left leg into the bag sliding into second on a double, but it looked like he might have tweaked the hamstring prior to that. He had his arm around the trainer as he walked off, so this could be more than a day-to-day kind of thing this time. If he lands on the IL, the Giants will probably turn to Wilmer Flores at first base. Rotoworld Monday, 3:43 pm

    • Exits game with knee injury
Wade was lifted from Monday's game against the Phillies with an apparent left knee injury, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Wade doubled off the wall in the bottom of the fifth inning but came up lame and had to be removed for a pinch-runner. He had missed the previous two games with a hamstring issue, but it would appear this is unrelated. The Giants should have more on Wade soon. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:42 pm

    • Returns to action Monday
Wade (hamstring) will start at first base and bat second in Monday's game versus the Phillies.

Advice: Wade had to exit a game this past Friday after tweaking his hamstring, causing him to miss the next two contests. He's feeling well enough to give it a go in this one, though, as the Giants take on right-hander Taijuan Walker and the Phillies. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:09 am

    • Alec Burleson collects two hits in win on Sunday
Alec Burleson went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles and a run scored as the Cardinals triumphed over the Cubs on Sunday evening.

Advice: Burleson smacked a one-out single off of Javier Assad in the third inning, then rode home on Paul Goldschmidt’s first two-run homer of the night. With his two-hit effort, the 25-year-old outfielder is now hitting a robust .309/.338/.460 with five long balls, 17 RBI and a pair of stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Sunday, 9:20 pm

    • Exits starting nine
Blackmon is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

Advice: With a tough lefty (Ranger Suarez) on the hill for Philadelphia and the Rockies and Phillies wrapping up their series with a day game after a night game, the lefty-hitting Blackmon will receive some routine maintenance. His absence from the lineup will open up the designated-hitter spot for Kris Bryant, who started at first base in Saturday's 8-4 loss. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:49 am

    • Lamonte Wade Jr. (hamstring) out Sunday
LaMonte Wade Jr. (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Mets.

Advice: Wade Jr. will miss Sunday’s game after leaving Wednesday’s contest with a hamstring issue. The Giants will start Ryan McKenna in right field while Wade Jr. is out. He should be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld Sunday, 8:07 am
