  • Tanner Scott picks up 10th save vs. Royals
Tanner Scott pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save on Tuesday against the Royals.

Advice: Scott allowed a one-out single to Salvador Perez in the ninth but went on to retire the next two batters he faced. The veteran lefty now has 10 saves on the season and lowered his ERA to 1.59 on the season. Scott has converted on 10 of his 12 save opportunities, but saves have been hard to come by for the 28-win Marlins. Rotoworld 7 minutes ago
  • Mark Vientos has two home runs in win
Mark Vientos went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in a 9-7 win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: Vientos’ power is legit and he now has nine home runs on the year and six in 19 games in June. Vientos is also hitting 19-for-69 (.275) in June while taking over the Mets’ starting third base role. With the Mets offense surging and Vientos showing a better approach to go along with his plus power, he should be added in all formats where he may still be available. Rotoworld 10 minutes ago
  • Nick Gordon scores game-winning run vs. Royals
Nick Gordon went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Royals.

Advice: Gordon’s RBI single in the seventh inning tied the game at 1-1, giving the Marlins life after being shut down by Seth Lugo for six innings. Gordon’s single paved the way for him to later score on an RBI single by Jazz Chisholm, which was enough for the Marlins to earn a surprise win over the Royals. Rotoworld 11 minutes ago
  • Harrison Bader has two hits, HR in win
Harrison Bader went 2-for-4 with a home run, a steal, and two runs scored in a win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: Bader’s home run was a 419-foot shot for his fifth of the season, and the stolen base was his 11th of the year. Bader has been playing regularly as the Mets’ starting center fielder and should continue to see regular at-bats with Starling Marte now out for at least a month. Bader is hitting .272 on the year and has always had enough power and speed to be fantasy-relevant when healthy. Rotoworld 14 minutes ago
  • Chirinos allows one earned run in win over Royals
Yonny Chirinos allowed three hits and one earned run over five innings in Tuesday’s win over the Royals.

Advice: Chirinos kept a potent Royals lineup at bay all evening, with his lone blemish coming in the first inning on a Vinny Pasquantino RBI single. Chirinos allowed six total baserunners on the evening, with three coming via the walk, but managed to pitch himself out of a few jams with runners in scoring position. A lack of run support left him on the hook for the loss before an RBI single by Nick Gordon in the seventh tied the game at 1-1. Through two starts, Chirinos is boasting a 2.70 ERA with 11 strikeouts to just three walks. He’ll look to pick up his first win of the season in his next start, which is set for Sunday against the Phillies. Rotoworld 14 minutes ago
  • Elvis Peguero picks up surprise save vs. Rangers
Elvis Peguero pitched a perfect ninth inning to earn the save on Tuesday against the Rangers.

Advice: Peguero now has two saves on the season and got the nod in the ninth over Trevor Megill. Megill got the night off after picking up the save on Monday. We wouldn’t expect this to become the norm for Peguero. Rotoworld 16 minutes ago
  • Ortiz homers to lift Brewers over Rangers
Joey Ortiz went 1-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.

Advice: Ortiz hit his seventh homer of the season into the left field stands to give the Brewers a 2-1 lead in the fifth. Ortiz has now hit safely in three of his last five games and is slashing .257/.373/.371 in June with four extra-base hits and eight RBI. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago
  • Hoby Milner logs 2 IP as opener vs. Rangers
Hoby Milner allowed one earned run over two innings in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.

Advice: Milner was tasked with toeing the rubber as an “opener” on Tuesday against the Rangers. The veteran lefty ran into trouble in the first inning, allowing a double to Corey Seager, which was followed by an RBI single by Josh Smith, and was pulled after pitching a scoreless second. It was the first time all season that Milner went two or more innings, as Tuesday marked his first start of the season and his career. We wouldn’t expect him to draw another start any time soon. • David Peterson loses command in no decision
David Peterson allowed one run on three hits in 4 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Yankees.

Advice: Peterson also struck out eight but walked five on the day. He was gifted a 6-1 lead, but he was unable to pitch deep enough to get the win as he walked two straight batters after getting the first out in the fifth inning and was removed before facing a right-handed batter. The left-hander had an impressive 31 percent whiff rate and 30 percent CSW on the day, but he struggled to find the zone with his fastball and now has 10 walks over his last three starts. He hasn’t been consistent since coming off the IL, but he has flashed some swing-and-miss that could keep him on the streaming radar. Rotoworld 22 minutes ago
