  • Converts 16th save
Doval allowed a hit and struck out two in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Thursday's 4-2 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Doval has converted his first two save chances in July after a tumultuous June. He's allowed one run over his last seven innings, converting four of his five save chances in that span. Overall, he's 16-for-19 in saves with a 4.15 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 46:22 K:BB through 34.2 innings, though his status as the Giants' closer hasn't been threatened. Rotowire.com 5 minutes ago

  • Goes seven innings in win
Webb (7-6) allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out six over seven innings to earn the win over Atlanta on Thursday.

Advice: Webb gave up both runs on three hits and a sacrifice fly in the first inning, then settled in to produce a strong start by not allowing a runner past second base for the next six frames. He's gone seven innings in six of his last eight starts as he continues to be an innings-eater at the top of the Giants' rotation. For the season, Webb has a 3.09 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 103:27 K:BB over 119.1 innings through 19 starts. The right-hander is projected to make his next start at home versus the Blue Jays. • Takes fifth loss
Morton (5-5) allowed four runs (three earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out five over 5.1 innings to take the loss versus the Giants on Thursday.

Advice: Morton continues to alternated between good and bad starts, with this one being not particularly sharp. He threw 54 of 94 pitches for strikes and served up home runs to Heliot Ramos and Matt Chapman in the fourth inning. This was the first time all year Morton has been taken deep multiple times in a start. He's been generally effective with a 3.96 ERA despite a 1.25 WHIP and 92:38 K:BB over 91 innings across 16 starts. The veteran right-hander is projected to make his next start at Arizona. • Beeks picks up seventh save Thursday
Jalen Beeks threw 1 1/3 scoreless innings and picked up the save against the Brewers on Thursday.

Advice: It was Beeks’ seventh save of the year. He had blown his last three save opportunities. Beeks’ save was his first save since May 31st. He has a 4.19 ERA on the season. He has five wins and seven saves on the season, but isn’t the most reliable late inning arm in fantasy. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago
  • Quantrill allows two runs in no-decision
Cal Quantrill allowed two runs in five innings and got a no-decision in the Rockies’ 4-3 victory over the Brewers on Thursday.

Advice: Quantrill gave up five hits, walked four and struck out two. He gave up two runs on a two-run single by Andrew Monasterio in the fourth inning. His ERA is 3.77, but with a 4.38 xFIP and 74 strikeouts on the season he’s tough to stream while pitching half of his games at Coors Field let alone roster. The 29-year-old right-hander is set to face the Reds on the road next week.
