    • Jake Cronenworth hits 10th homer in Padres’ win
Jake Cronenworth homered, doubled and scored twice as the Padres topped the A’s 6-1 on Monday.

Advice: Cronenworth has two homers in three games after going his previous 19 games without one. His exit velocity numbers have trended downwards after a surprisingly hot start in April, but he’s still performing better than his decline the previous two seasons indicated he would; he’s back up to .267/.331/.463 after tonight. He has as many homers (10) in 288 plate appearances this year that he did in 522 last season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:31 pm
    • JJ Bleday goes 0-for-5, fans four times
JJ Bleday went 0-for-5 with four strikeouts in the loss to the Padres on Monday.

Advice: He also badly misread a fly to shallow center in the second inning, giving Manny Machado a single. With a solid .232/.315/.444 line in 271 plate appearances, Bleday isn’t in any danger of losing playing time at the moment. Tonight’s showing, though, was pretty ugly. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:30 pm
    • Adds steal Monday
Blanco went 1-for-3 with a stolen base and a run scored in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Blanco got the start in left field but moved over to right when Hunter Renfroe left the game with a broken toe. With Renfroe likely for the injured list, Blanco could get first dibs on a starting role moving forward, though it's also possible the Royals call up Drew Waters from Triple-A Omaha since there is a chance for steady playing time. Blanco has done well in limited action this season with a .259/.323/.362 slash line and 14 steals over 66 plate appearances as a fourth outfielder. However, he's gone just 3-for-17 over his last 11 contests and would likely struggle to hit consistently in an everyday role. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:12 pm
    • Drives in three in win
O'Hearn went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI in Monday's 5-2 win over the Rays.

Advice: O'Hearn saw a seven-game hitting streak snapped Sunday, but he bounced back quickly. The 30-year-old helped the Orioles pull away Monday with a two-run double in the fifth inning and an RBI single in the seventh. O'Hearn continues to be a force versus right-handed pitchers, slashing .287/.344/.489 with nine home runs, 24 RBI, 25 runs scored, two stolen bases, six doubles and a triple over 189 plate appearances this year in a strong-side platoon role. • Patrick Bailey reaches four times in Giants’ win
Patrick Bailey walked three times before singling in a run in the 10th as the Giants edged the Astros 4-3 on Monday.

Advice: Offense is down plenty as is, but it’d be even worse if not for the Manfred Man skewing scoring in extra innings; this was a 1-1 game after nine before five runs scored in the 10th. Austin Slater delivered the game-winner for the Giants then after Bailey tied up the game with a sharp single up the middle. Bailey has missed some time this year, but he’s probably been the Giants’ best player in batting .280/.357/.424 in 42 games and playing Gold Glove-quality defense behind the plate. • Mike Yastrzemski loses homer to Oracle Park
Mike Yastrzemski had an RBI triple in three at-bats before being removed for a pinch-hitter Monday against the Astros.

Advice: Yaz’s triple was a rare 29-out-of-30 shot; according to Statcast it would have been a homer in every other ballpark other than Oracle. The Giants lifted him in the ninth against a lefty, and though that didn’t pay off initially, his replacement, Austin Slater, did come up with the game-winning hit in the 10th. • Swats second homer
Soderstrom went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a loss to the Padres on Monday.

Advice: Soderstrom gave Oakland an early lead with a solo homer in the second inning, but that was the only run the team ended up generating. The long ball was Soderstrom's first since his first game of the campaign, which took place May 8 against Texas. He's struggled to a .200 batting average with just six RBI over 71 plate appearances on the campaign, though his 14.1 percent walk rate has kept his OBP at a respectable .324. • Homer, steal in win
McCann went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk, a stolen base and two total runs scored in Monday's 5-2 win over the Rays.

Advice: This was McCann's third multi-hit effort of the season and his first since April 16. He also picked up his second homer and first steal of the campaign. McCann's playing time remains limited while backing up star catcher Adley Rutschman, who received a day off Monday. McCann is at a .211/.224/.326 slash line through 98 plate appearances. • Reaches three times in win
Kim went 1-for-1 with two walks, two RBI and a stolen base in Monday's 6-1 victory against Oakland.

Advice: Kim gave San Diego its first lead with an RBI single in the fourth inning and plated the team's final run with a sacrifice fly in the seventh. The shortstop added a stolen base in the victory, giving him 14 on the campaign. Kim has struggled at the plate for much of the early part of the season but may be starting to heat up, going 4-for-12 with two homers, seven RBI and four walks over his past four contests.
