  • Outrighted to Double-A
White cleared waivers Thursday and was sent outright to Double-A Somerset.

Advice: The Yankees claimed White off waivers from Tampa Bay on May 9, and he remained on the 40-man for just 11 days before being DFA'd on Monday. He has appeared in two games for Somerset since joining the Yankees organization, allowing two earned runs across two-thirds of an inning. Rotowire.com Today, 1:54 pm
  • Launches grand slam Thursday
Bart went 2-for-4 with a double and a grand slam in Thursday's 7-6 loss to the Giants.

Advice: Bart made quite an impression on his former team, launching a 434-foot grand slam off Mason Black in the fourth inning to put the Pirates ahead 5-1. The 27-year-old Bart's been hot of late, going 9-for-23 (.391) with three extra-base hits in his last seven games on the heels of an 0-for-14 stretch. Overall, he's slashing .267/.362/.517 with four homers, 12 RBI and seven runs scored across 21 games. With Yasmani Grandal nursing a groin injury, Bart could be in line for a regular starting role in the short term. Rotowire.com Today, 1:53 pm
  • Designated for assignment
Peralta was designated for assignment by the Mariners on Thursday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Seattle has scooped up Eduardo Salazar off waivers from the Dodgers and Peralta is the 40-man roster casualty. Peralta, 26, has spent all of this season at Triple-A Tacoma, putting up a 9.24 ERA and 12:8 K:BB over 12.2 frames. Rotowire.com Today, 1:51 pm
  • Grabs save Thursday
Rogers earned the save in Thursday's 7-6 win over the Pirates, working around a hit in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Rogers was called upon to protect a one-run lead in the ninth, with Camilo Doval having pitched three times in the last four days. The Pirates would get a couple of baserunners via an error and a Bryan Reynolds single, but Rogers would ultimately escape unscathed, securing his first save this season. The 33-year-old sidearmer has put together another solid start to the campaign -- his ERA is down to 2.19 with a 0.97 WHIP and 16 strikeouts with no walks across 24.2 innings. While Doval is firmly established as the closer in San Francisco, Rogers is the clear number-two option. Rotowire.com Today, 1:47 pm
  • Claimed by M's
The Mariners claimed Salazar off waivers from the Dodgers on Thursday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Advice: After pitching two scoreless innings for the Dodgers on May 15, Salazar was optioned to Triple-A and later designated for assignment. He'll once again hold a 40-man roster spot with his new club, though he will begin his tenure with the Mariners at Triple-A Tacoma. The 26-year-old right-hander has logged a 5.61 ERA and 1.78 WHIP through 33.2 innings across seven starts in the minors. Rotowire.com Today, 1:46 pm
  • Another strong outing
Skenes didn't factor into the decision Thursday against the Giants, allowing one run on six hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out three.

Advice: While Thursday's outing wasn't as dominant as Skene's 11-strikeout performance in his last start, the rookie right-hander was still effective, coaxing a pair of key double-play balls to limit the Giants to just one run. However, the Pirates bullpen would implode late, leaving Skenes with a no-decision in an eventual 7-6 loss. Skenes now sports a 2.25 ERA with a 1.00 WHIP and an impressive 21:4 K:BB through his first three starts (16 innings). He's currently in line for a road matchup with the Tigers in his next outing. • Nick Martini homers in extra-inning loss to Padres
Nick Martini went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in a loss in extra-innings to the Padres on Thursday.

Advice: Martini stirred things up (sorry) with his two-run shot, as it tied the game at 4-4 in the sixth inning. The 33-year-old has gone deep deep four times, but his line of .184/.204/.356 tells the story of how little fantasy value he offers. Pretty good pun at the start of this, however. • Ha-Seong Kim steals two bags against Reds
Ha-Seong Kim stole two bases while going 1-for-3 with a walk against the Reds on Thursday.

Advice: Kim was also thrown out stealing for the second time this season, but the pair of thefts do bring his season total to 13. That’s a solid number, obviously, but his .216/.335/.369 slash has left a lot to be desired. Despite those poor numbers he does have six homers and 22 RBI, so we’ll call Kim’s 2024 campaign a mixed bag. Rotoworld Today, 1:32 pm
  • Luis Arraez collects four hits in win over Reds
Luis Arraez went 4-for-5 with an RBI and run scored in an extra-inning win over the Reds on Thursday.

Advice: That’s the second four-hit game in a row for Arraez, as he also collected four in the 7-3 win Wednesday. It’s also the eighth consecutive multi-hit game, and that’s seen the 27-year-old increase his average to .341. Helping in other categories is sometimes tricky, but the average category? Nope. That’s one Arraez is always going to be dominant in. Rotoworld Today, 1:32 pm
