  • Slow start in rearview mirror
Amador has homered in three straight games and is slashing .333/.422/.741 with seven home runs and seven steals in his last 13 games for Double-A Hartford.

Advice: The prized second baseman slashed .135/.309/.144 with one extra-base hit in his first 32 games of the season, so his overall season stats aren't spectacular, but Amador is beginning to show the type of update that his dynasty managers were expecting. Amador is also a threat on the bases, having stolen 22 bags on 25 attempts in 45 games. He should be Ezequiel Tovar's double-play partner in Colorado for most, if not all, of 2025. Advice: Rojas generated three or more hits for the second time this season, with the other such performance happening May 29 against the Mets. He also swiped his third bag of the campaign, taking second base off Bailey Falter and Henry Davis in the first inning. • Reaches four times, homers
Betts went 2-for-4 with two walks, a three-run home run and an additional run scored during Thursday's 11-7 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Betts' three-run blast capped off a six-run fifth inning for the Dodgers and plated Miguel Vargas and Austin Barnes. Prior to Thursday's outburst, Betts had gone 1-for-24 (.042) across six games. Despite the minor cold spell, he owns the ninth-best OPS in MLB at .923 with 10 homers and nine stolen bases. • Four hits, four RBI in win
Rafaela went 4-for-6 with four RBI and one run scored in Thursday's 14-2 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Rafaela entered Thursday 0-for-10 across his last three games before enjoying a breakout performance. While all four of his hits were singles, three of them led to more runs on the board for the Red Sox. The 23-year-old is slashing a meager .215/.243/.374 through 62 contests, but he's batting .276 (16-for-58) over his last 16 games. Rafaela has added seven home runs, 37 RBI, 29 runs scored and eight stolen bases this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 9:16 pm
  • Volpe scores run, steals 12th base in win
Anthony Volpe went 1-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base against the Twins on Thursday.

Advice: Volpe’s stolen base was his 12th of the season. He continues to occupy the leadoff spot in New York even after the return of D.J. LeMahieu. Volpe is up to 46 runs scored in 63 games for the Yankees this season. Rotoworld Thursday, 8:37 pm
  • Winn has two-hit game Thursday
Masyn Winn went 2-for-5 against the Rockies on Thursday.

Advice: It was a quiet night for the Cardinals offense, but Winn returned from a back injury and added another two hits out of the leadoff spot. His average is up to .311 with an .804 OPS on the season. In his last 25 games, Winn is 32-for-89 (.359) with three home runs and three stolen bases. Rotoworld Thursday, 7:53 pm
  • Tommy Edman progresses to hitting from both sides
Tommy Edman (wrist) has been cleared to take batting practice from both sides of the plate.

Advice: Edman continues to work his way back from offseason surgery on his right wrist and remains without a definitive timetable to return to St. Louis at the moment. The versatile switch-hitting 29-year-old figures to be ready around the All-Star break, but he’s going to need a couple weeks of at-bats in the minors to get back up to speed in the wake of such an extended layoff. • Promoted to big leagues
The Rockies recalled Jones from Triple-A Albuquerque on Thursday.

Advice: Following injuries to Kris Bryant (ribs) and Sean Bouchard (foot), Jones will join the Rockies to add depth to a suddenly-thin Colorado outfield unit. The 26-year-old has slashed .240/.360/.387 with four RBI in 89 plate appearances with Albuquerque while also stealing 15 bases in 20 games. He'll be making his MLB debut whenever he gets into a game.
