    • Andrés Muñoz’s status to be evaluated daily
Andrés Muñoz is still dealing with his sore back, according to manager Scott Servais, and could be day-to-day for the foreseeable future.

Advice: We’re guessing that means Muñoz won’t go tonight after throwing 15 pitches in a scoreless inning Sunday. Ryne Stanek could be the favorite to close tonight. Rotoworld Today, 4:27 pm
    • Set to throw off mound
Snell (groin) is scheduled to throw off the mound later this week, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Snell landed on the injured list due to a mild left groin strain he sustained June 2 against the Yankees. He recently began throwing off flat ground, and the 31-year-old southpaw will take the next step in his rehab by throwing off a mound. Snell started in six games prior to his groin injury, going 0-3 with a 9.51 ERA, 1.94 WHIP and 31:14 K:BB over 23.2 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 3:55 pm

    • Swats another homer in loss
Tatis went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Tatis extended his hitting streak to 15 games with a solo blast to center in the first inning and would go quiet the rest of the afternoon. The hit streak is a new career high for him and also the longest active streak in baseball. Over that span, he's hitting .410/.463/.672 with four homers, eight RBI, 11 runs and a 4:8 BB:K over 67 plate appearances. He's raised his batting average nearly 40 points since the streak began and now holds a slash line of .281/.359/.467 with a team-high 12 home runs. Rotowire.com Today, 7:00 am
    • Poised for weekend return
Flaherty (back) is expected to make his next start during the Tigers' three-game series in Houston that begins Friday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Flaherty was forced out of his most recent start against the Rangers this past Tuesday, when he tossed five scoreless innings before being lifted on account of back tightness. The right-hander downplayed his injury when he addressed the media after the game and said that he expected to make his next start in Tuesday's series opener versus the Nationals, but the Tigers have since elected to err on the side of caution and give Flaherty a few extra days to recover. Detroit will take advantage of Monday's off day to reshuffle the rotation, with Kenta Maeda, Reese Olson and Casey Mize picking up starts Tuesday through Thursday before Flaherty and ace Tarik Skubal start the first two games of the series in Houston in some order. Though Flaherty looks like he won't be operating under any restrictions against the Astros after playing catch Friday and throwing a bullpen session Sunday without issue, the change in the pitching order means that he'll miss out on a two-start week. • Clean appearance in blowout loss
Fairbanks allowed one hit and struck out one across a scoreless inning Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: Fairbanks last pitched Wednesday, so he entered the game in the ninth inning Sunday even with the Rays down by seven runs. Though it was a low-leverage situation, Fairbanks now hasn't allowed a run across 13 innings while maintaining a 13:2 K:BB since returning from the injured list May 11. Rotowire.com Today, 6:28 am
    • Performance picking up in June
Arozarena went 2-for-4 with an RBI on Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: Arozarena delivered an RBI single in the sixth inning and recorded his second multi-hit game in his last three starts. He's hit well across seven games in June, going 8-for-22 with an RBI and three runs scored. Arozarena still has a disappointing .614 OPS across 260 plate appearances, though he has still managed eight home runs and seven stolen bases across 63 games. Rotowire.com Today, 6:22 am

    • Steals home in win
Garcia went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Giants.

Advice: Garcia stole home as part of a double-steal in the first inning, the third time he's stolen home in his career. It was his fifth theft of the season. The slugger has been grinding at the dish; his first-inning single snapped an 0-for-16 run. For the season, Garcia is batting just .217 with a career-low .699 OPS through 62 games. • Andrés Muñoz gets hold in return from sore back
Andrés Muñoz, who hadn’t pitched since aggravating his back Tuesday, returned to the mound with a scoreless eighth inning Sunday against the Royals.

Advice: Rather than save him for the ninth, the Mariners opted to use Muñoz against the top of the Royals order in the eighth with a two-run lead today. Muñoz did his part, but Michael Baumann went on to give up a game-tying homer in the bottom of the ninth. The Mariners went on to win in the 10th, with Tayler Saucedo collecting a one-out save. Ryne Stanek, typically the primary alternative to Muñoz, went unused for a second straight day after throwing 39 pitches between Thursday and Friday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:22 pm
    • Swipes two bags
Happ went 1-for-3 with a double, three RBI, two walks and two stolen bases in Sunday's 4-2 win over Cincinnati.

Advice: Happ slugged a bases-clearing double in the first inning and stole multiple bases for the first time this season. The switch-hitting Happ has now collected three steals over his past five games, upping his season total to five. If Happ can continue his recent success on the basepaths, his fantasy value will receive a tremendous boost. On the season, the 29-year-old is batting .222 with six home runs, 30 RBI, 31 runs scored and five stolen bases across 258 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:51 pm
