    • Jeremy Peña fans four times in loss
Jeremy Peña struck out all four times he was up Monday in the loss to the Mariners.

Advice: That’s as many strikeouts as he totaled in his previous eight games. Peña is having a great season, but this was not his night. We’d still say it’s past time for the Astros to start batting him ahead of Alex Bregman in the order. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:31 pm
    • Continues power surge
Seager went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Twins.

Advice: Seager had just two homers through the end of April, but his power swing has returned in a big way. The shortstop has clubbed six homers over his last six games and is now at 11 long balls on the year. He's also gone 13-for-37 (.351) during a 10-game hitting streak. Seager's surge has him up to a .258/.349/.447 slash line with 24 RBI, 25 runs scored, no stolen bases and three doubles through 49 contests overall. Rotowire.com Sunday, 2:40 pm

    • Corey Seager homers twice in win
Corey Seager went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in the Rangers 6-2 win over the Twins on Sunday.

Advice: Seager is blazing hot right now with six home runs in his last six games after hitting just five in his first 43. There was never any concern with Seager’s bat, but it’s nice to see this power surge after a slow first month. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:31 pm

    • Homers in loss
Seager went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Friday's 3-2 loss to Minnesota.

Advice: Seager returned to the lineup Friday after a day off, and his bat remained hot. He homered for a fourth straight game, connecting in his first at-bat to give the Rangers an early 2-0 lead. He's hit safely in eight straight (.357, five homers) and has an on-base streak of 18 games (.420 OBP, seven homers). Rotowire.com Saturday, 5:48 am

    • Corey Seager gets a day off on Thursday
Corey Seager is not in the starting lineup for the Rangers’ game against the Phillies on Thursday.

Advice: It’s a day game after a night game in conditions that figure to be wet and gross, so it’s the perfect time to give Seager a breather. The shortstop has been heating up of late, hitting a home run in each of the last three games and six in his last 16 days. Even with the slow start to the season, his plate discipline metrics remained elite, so it was only a matter of time before he started to put up early-round fantasy value. • Day off Thursday
Seager is absent from the lineup for Thursday's contest in Philadelphia.

Advice: Seager has hit home runs in three straight games, but he will be given a breather Thursday as the Rangers go up against Zack Wheeler and the Phillies. Josh Smith will slide over to shortstop and Ezequiel Duran will occupy third base while Seager rests. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:33 am

    • Homer streak continues
Seager went 2-for-3 with two walks and a solo home run during Wednesday's 11-4 loss to Philadelphia.

Advice: Seager reached base four times Wednesday, but he was only able to reach home plate on a solo homer in the seventh off Gregory Soto. The shortstop has gone yard in three straight games and has hit safely in 14 of his last 16 games. Seager trails only Gunnar Henderson and Elly De La Cruz for the most home runs at the shortstop position. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:39 pm

    • Corey Seager homers in third straight game
Corey Seager went 2-for-3 with a homer, single, and two walks on Wednesday in a loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Seager gave the Phillies fits all night as they didn’t retire him until his final at-bat. The home run was his eighth of the season, third in as many days, and sixth since May 6th. He’s shaken off a slow start to the season in a big way. Rotoworld Wednesday, 6:35 pm

    • Homers again Tuesday
Seager went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Seager had a rough time against Phillies starter Ranger Suarez, going 0-for-4 with four strikeouts to start the day. However, he'd turn his night around with a solo home run off Jeff Hoffman in the eighth inning, cutting Texas' deficit to 3-2. The long ball extended Seager's hitting streak to six games -- he's gone 7-for-22 (.318) with three homers in that span. The 30-year-old shortstop is now slashing .246/.335/.383 with seven homers, 18 RBI and 20 runs scored through 200 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:13 am
