• Bobby Miller (shoulder) throws bullpen session
Bobby Miller (shoulder) threw a bullpen session at Dodger Stadium on Saturday afternoon without any issues.

Advice: Up next for Miller will be a three-inning simulated game, and if all goes well with that session he’ll finally progress to a minor league rehab assignment. Anticipate that he’ll need at least two starts in the minors before he’s an option to rejoin the Dodgers’ rotation — but he is taking tangible steps in that direction. Rotoworld 5 minutes ago

  • Pirates outright Josh Fleming to Triple-A Indy
Pirates sent LHP Josh Fleming outright to Triple-A Indianapolis.

Advice: The 28-year-old southpaw passed through waivers unclaimed after being designated for assignment earlier in the week. Fleming posted a 5.68 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and a 13/9 K/BB ratio over 19 innings in 17 appearances for the Bucs. He’ll continue to function as extra bullpen depth for the Pirates at the Triple-A level. • Outrighted to Indianapolis
Fleming cleared waivers Saturday and was sent outright to Triple-A Indianapolis, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Advice: Fleming was DFA'd by the Pirates on Tuesday after giving up six runs (five earned) in his most recent MLB appearance, and he will officially remain within the organization as he looks to get back on track. The 28-year-old southpaw posted a 4.35 ERA and 1.77 WHIP in Triple-A last season, though he will likely have to do better than that before the Pirates start thinking about calling him back up to the majors. • Zach Eflin surrenders four runs against Blue Jays
Zach Eflin allowed four runs with three strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Eflin had worked through three scoreless innings before the Blue Jays brought a run across to score on three hits in the fourth. Four consecutive hits to start the fifth inning would bring three more runs in for Toronto. Eflin would return for one more inning, ending his day after six with three strikeouts. The 30-year-old right-hander will take a 4.12 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and a 44/4 K/BB ratio across 59 innings into a start against the Royals in Tampa Bay on Friday. Rotoworld 27 minutes ago

  • Kevin Gausman goes six innings in no-decision
Kevin Gausman allowed three runs with six strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision against the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: Gausman had worked around four hits through five scoreless frames before the Rays would get to him in the sixth. Two base hits and a walk would load the bases with two outs. Amed Rosario knocked a single to plate two runs. José Caballero followed with a single to bring in one more before Gausman got out of the inning. He struck out six. The 33-year-old right-hander will take a 4.89 ERA, 1.51 WHIP, and a 43/11 K/BB ratio across 42 1/3 innings into a start against the Tigers in Detroit on Thursday. Rotoworld 29 minutes ago

  • Testing foot Sunday
Walker (foot) will throw a light bullpen session Sunday, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Advice: Walker was forced out of his last start Thursday versus the Mets after taking a comebacker off his left foot. Once he gets a chance to throw off a mound Sunday, the Phillies will make a decision on whether or not the 31-year-old righty will make his next scheduled start -- tentatively scheduled for Wednesday against the Rangers. If the Phillies deem Walker unfit to start, Spencer Turnbull would return to the rotation. Rotowire.com Today, 1:54 pm
  • Taijuan Walker (foot) to throw bullpen on Sunday
Taijuan Walker (foot) will throw a light bullpen session on Sunday to test out his injured left foot.

Advice: The Phillies will then make a determination on whether or not he’ll require a trip to the injured list or when his next start in the rotation will be. Spencer Turnbull is ready and waiting should the Phillies need someone to fill-in for Walker. Rotoworld Today, 1:47 pm
  • Shota Imanaga goes seven scoreless vs. Pirates
Shota Imanaga tossed seven shutout innings with seven strikeouts in a no-decision against the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Imanaga was outstanding once again, scattering four hits and one walk across seven scoreless innings. He did not allow a runner to reach scoring position until the seventh inning. The Pirates would put two runners on with a pair of base hits, but Imanaga would get out of trouble with a strikeout, one of seven on the day. He was saddled with a no-decision as the Cubs were also shut down by Bailey Falter. The 30-year-old left-hander has been perhaps the best starter in baseball so far, posting a 0.84 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, and a 58/9 K/BB ratio across 53 2/3 innings. He’ll take on the Cardinals in St. Louis on Friday. Rotoworld Today, 1:35 pm

  • Bailey Falter holds Cubs scoreless into eighth
Bailey Falter struck out two batters across 7 2/3 scoreless innings in a no-decision against the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: Falter silenced the Cubs bats into the eighth inning in a pitching showdown against Shota Imanaga. He scattered three hits and two walks, striking out two. The Pirates couldn’t get anything across the board to put Falter in line for a win. The 27-year-old left-hander will take a 3.53 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and a 29/13 K/BB ratio across 51 innings into a matchup against the Braves in Pittsburgh on Friday. Rotoworld Today, 1:34 pm
