• Ha-Seong Kim has jack and a bag in win on Sunday
Ha-Seong Kim homered, swiped a base, walked and scored a pair of runs on Sunday night, leading the Padres in a 9-1 shellacking of the Braves in Atlanta.

Advice: Kim led off the fourth inning with a single off of Bryce Elder, swiped second base and scored on a two-run double off the bat of Fernando Tatis Jr. He then walloped a 393-foot (100.7 mph EV) solo shot off of Ray Kerr in the seventh inning that extended the Padres’ lead to 9-0. The dynamic 28-year-old is now hitting .213/.326/.372 on the season to go along with six homers, 22 RBI and nine stolen bases. Rotoworld 15 minutes ago

  • Jurickson Profar collects three hits in win Sunday
Jurickson Profar went 3-for-4 with a double, RBI and a pair of runs scored in a lopsided victory over the Braves on Sunday night.

Advice: Profar started a rally in the opening inning by drawing a two-out walk off of Bryce Elder. He then rode home on Jake Cronenworth’s two-run blast. He then smacked an RBI double in the fourth inning that extended the Padres’ lead to 6-0 and came around to score on a sacrifice fly by Xander Bogaerts. The 31-year-old outfielder has yet to cool off, and after his three-hit attack he’s now hitting .335/.422/.522 with seven homers, 31 RBI and three stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld 15 minutes ago
  • Jake Cronenworth goes deep in victory over Braves
Jake Cronenworth smashed a two-run homer on Sunday night, helping to propel the Padres to a lopsided victory over the Braves.

Advice: Cronenworth victimized Braves’ starter Bryce Elder in the opening inning with his two-out, 392-foot (101.3 mph EV) two-run blast that gave the Padres the early lead. That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the night. On the season, the versatile 30-year-old is now hitting .275/.344/.485 with eight long balls and 30 RBI. Rotoworld 15 minutes ago

  • Yu Darvish strikes out nine in victory over Braves
Yu Darvish delivered a dominant performance in Sunday night’s victory over the Braves, piling up nine strikeouts over seven innings of scoreless baseball.

Advice: The 37-year-old right-hander gave up just two hits on the evening while allowing one base on balls. Only once did the Braves put a man in scoring position against him, and that was on Marcell Ozuna’s two-out double in the opening inning. He finished his night by retiring the final 13 hitters that he faced in order. Darvish got 14 swings and misses on 99 pitches on the night, posting a strong CSW of 34 percent. He now boasts a 2.08 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and a 46/13 K/BB ratio over 47 2/3 innings through his first nine starts on the season. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling when he does battle against the Yankees on Friday. Rotoworld 15 minutes ago

  • Marcell Ozuna doubles in loss to Padres
Marcell Ozuna went 1-for-3 with a double as the Braves were dominated by Yu Darvish and the Padres on Sunday evening in Atlanta.

Advice: Ozuna smacked a two-out double off of Darvish in the opening inning, but he never advanced past second base. No other Braves’ hitter would touch second base the remainder of the night against Darvish. Ozuna continues to power the Braves’ offense this season — slashing a robust .325/.400/.610 with 12 homers and 41 RBI through his first 42 ballgames. Rotoworld 16 minutes ago

  • Bryce Elder knocked around in loss to Padres
Bryce Elder was knocked around in Sunday night’s loss to the Padres, giving up seven runs (six earned) on nine hits over his three-plus innings of work.

Advice: The 25-year-old right-hander also issued three walks on the night while punching out three. After getting the first two outs in the opening inning, the Padres struck for three runs with two outs, including a two-run blast by Jake Cronenworth. Elder seemed to settle in a bit after that, but allowed four straight hits to start the fourth inning before turning the ball over to the bullpen. He got just eight swings and misses on 93 pitches on the night — six on his slider — while posting a CSW of 23 percent. He’ll carry a troublesome 6.46 ERA and 1.94 WHIP into Friday’s start against the Pirates in Pittsburgh. Rotoworld 16 minutes ago

  • Continues to struggle
Liberatore (1-2) suffered the loss Sunday against the Red Sox, allowing four runs on six hits and one walk over three innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Liberatore struggled through three-plus innings Sunday, including allowing a first inning solo homer to former teammate Tyler O'Neill. Liberatore started the fourth with the game still at 2-0 but he was pulled after allowing a run-scoring double to Romy Gonzalez, who later scored to add a fourth run to Liberatore's line. The 24-year-old lefty has struggled over his last four appearances, including three starts, allowing 11 runs over 10.1 innings. With the return of Steven Matz looming, Liberatore's stay in the Cardinals' rotation appears to be coming to an end. Rotowire.com 26 minutes ago

  • Efficient in earning second win
Pivetta (2-2) earned the win Sunday, allowing one run on one hit over six innings against the Cardinals. He struck out eight.

Advice: A fourth inning solo homer by Lars Nootbaar was the only blemish against Pivetta, who needed just 72 pitches to retire 18 of the 19 batters he faced. It was the second consecutive start for Pivetta with eight K's as he's struck out 16 over 11.2 innings while allowing only three runs during that stretch. However, it should be noted that all three runs were scored by way of the long ball and Pivetta has now allowed six homers, including five of the solo variety, over his last three appearances. Pivetta will look to continue the momentum into his next start, tentatively slated to take place next weekend when the Red Sox welcome the Brewers into Fenway for a three-game set. • On cusp of return
Leone (back) appears set to be activated from the 15-day injured list Monday, James Fegan of SoxMachine.com reports.

Advice: Leone has been on the shelf since May 6 with lower-back tightness, but he looks primed to be back in Chicago's bullpen after the minimum 15-day stay on the injured list. Right-hander Brad Keller was designated for assignment Sunday, opening a spot on the major-league roster for the reliever, once activated. Rotowire.com Today, 5:32 pm
