Since his nine-start win streak ended in late May, the 28-year-old has posted a 3.10 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 23:7 K:BB through 20.1 innings over four outings.       Max Meyer struck out four and allowed two runs over four innings on Friday for Triple-A Jacksonville.

      Advice: So much for the whole notion from Marlins manager Skip Schumaker that Meyer would be returning to the majors “soon.” While Miami’s starting rotation continues to struggle, Meyer hasn’t exactly delivered dominant performances his last few times out. Still, he’s a vastly superior option than the cromulent journeymen the Marlins keep throwing out there. It’s only a matter of time before the 25-year-old top pitching prospect gets another shot after having his workload closely monitored in the minors over the last few months.       Advice: Ramos collected his seventh multi-hit effort in 12 games in June. He's also posted five homers, 14 RBI and an 8:15 BB:K over that span. Ramos is up to a .314/.400/.529 slash line with seven long balls, 27 RBI, 14 runs scored and one stolen base over 140 plate appearances this season. He initially worked in the corner outfield spots, but the 24-year-old has started the last seven games in center field as he continues to solidify his place in the majors.       Heliot Ramos hit a three-run homer and reached four times in a loss to the Angels on Friday.

      Advice: In addition to the three-run homer, Ramos also singled and drew a pair of walks. The 24-year-old has been outstanding in 2024 after struggling in his limited MLB chances in the past, and the four-reach game has him slashing .314/.400/.529 in 121 at-bats.
