    • Ben Rice moved into cleanup spot by Yankees
The Yankees have swapped Ben Rice and Alex Verdugo in Wednesday’s lineup, with Rice moving into the cleanup spot.

Advice: Rice has hit like a cleanup man with his .267/.348/.567 line to date. Verdugo has been swinging like a No. 9 hitter, but maybe the change will be nice; he was a solid leadoff man for Boston last year. The problem for the Yankees right now is that Aaron Judge, Juan Soto and Rice are the team’s only semi-regulars with even .310 OBPs. Rotoworld Today, 12:46 pm

    • Slugs fifth homer
Rice went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run Tuesday in a loss to the Rays.

Advice: Rice brought New York to within a run with his two-run shot in the seventh frame, but the team was unable to score again. The rookie first baseman continues to thrive in the majors, as he's slashing .267/.348/.567 with five home runs, three doubles, nine runs and 14 RBI over just 19 contests covering 69 plate appearances. All five of Rice's homers and 10 of his RBI have come over his past five games. Rotowire.com Today, 9:41 am

    • Suffers first loss since return
Gallen (6-5) took the loss Tuesday against Atlanta, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits and a walk while striking out four over 5.1 innings.

Advice: Gallen needed 53 pitches just to get through the first two innings, which is the most for him in a start this year. Atlanta pushed two runs across on him in the second, though one came off an error. Gallen then tossed three scoreless frames before coming back out for the sixth, and faltered there, allowing two men on before Adam Duvall crushed a curveball 441 feet to left to put Atlanta up 5-0 and end Gallen's night at 105 pitches. The home run was just the third Gallen's given up in his last seven starts (excluding his May 30 start when he exited the game after one batter). The 28-year-old owns a 3.33 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 75:20 K:BB in 73 innings and lines up for one final start before the All-Star break against Toronto this weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 6:51 am
    • Slugs 16th homer
Lindor went 3-for-4 with a walk, a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Nationals.

Advice: The shortstop took Jake Irvin deep for a two-run shot in the sixth inning, giving the Mets a 6-0 lead that the bullpen couldn't quite squander. Lindor is up to 16 homers on the season, including three in the last eight games, and over his last 25 contests he's slashing .311/.379/.592 with 11 doubles, six long balls, seven steals, 17 RBI and 24 runs. • Zac Gallen gives up five runs in loss to Braves
Zac Gallen pitched 5 1/3 innings and allowed five runs — four earned — in a loss to the Braves on Tuesday.

Advice: Gallen’s velocity tonight wasn’t quite as good as in his first two starts back from the injured list, though at 94.3 mph on average with his fastball, he was still up some from the first two months of the season. Alas, he gave up 10 hard-hit balls, including the four hardest of the game; those ranged from 108.5 to 112.7 mph and produced a homer, a double and two singles. Gallen fell to 6-5 with a 3.33 ERA for the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:50 pm
    • Secures 14th save
Yates allowed a hit and struck out two in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

Advice: Yates extended his scoreless streak to seven innings, and this was the fifth time in those seven appearances where he's struck out multiple batters. He's earned a save in three straight outings after a two-week gap between saves, and he's up to 14 on the year. Yates has maintained a 0.84 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 45:14 K:BB through 32.1 innings this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:30 pm

    • Kirby Yates pitches scoreless ninth for save
All-Star Kirby Yates recorded his 14th save Tuesday with a scoreless ninth against the Angels.

Advice: Atlanta’s bullpen has been just fine, but the Braves still surely regret turning down Yates’ $5.75 million option over the winter, paying him a $1.25 million buyout instead. Yates has a 0.84 ERA and a 45/14 K/BB ratio in 32 1/3 innings. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:41 pm

    • Colt Keith stays hot with home run
Colt Keith went 2-for-5 with three runs scored, two RBI, and a home run in a loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Keith had a 101.4 mph single while his home run was just a 362-foot shot at 94.5 mph off the bat that had an xBA of .170 and would have only been a home run in 17 parks. Still, it counts the same and was the rookie’s eighth of the season and his fourth in his last seven games. Over those seven games, he’s hitting .423 with those four home runs, six RBI, and one steal. Since May 1st, he also ranks first in batting average, second in slugging, and second in OPS among second basemen with at least 100 plate appearances. He needs to be rostered in all formats right now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:34 pm

    • Goes deep again Tuesday
Keith 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and two additional runs scored in Tuesday's 9-8, 10-inning loss to the Guardians.

Advice: It's hard to believe that Keith was batting just .154 with no home runs at the end of April, as the rookie has turned it on since then. In 55 games from May onward, Keith is batting .294 with eight long balls and 27 RBI, and he has four homers and seven RBI over the last six contests alone. The 22-year-old was a high-upside prospect in the minors and he's starting to deliver on that promise in the majors, much to the delight of fantasy managers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:22 pm
