• Notches three hits
Rengifo went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Yankees.

Advice: Rengifo did a good job of getting on base, and he was able to score after his singles in the first and eighth innings. The infielder has been locked in since returning from an illness May 17, going 15-for-42 (.357) over his last 10 contests. That has raised his slash line to .331/.378/.504 with four home runs, 12 stolen bases, 17 RBI and 22 runs scored across 144 plate appearances on the year. Rotowire.com 3 minutes ago

  • Homers in three-hit game
Pillar went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Yankees.

Advice: Pillar has hit safely in his last 11 games, going 20-for-41 (.488) in that span. He's logged a trio of three-hit efforts during the streak. The outfielder is up to a .349/.402/.639 slash line with six homers, 24 RBI, 14 runs scored, six stolen bases, four doubles and a triple over 34 contests this season. He struggled initially with the White Sox, but he's been excellent since joining the Angels at the end of April. Rotowire.com 6 minutes ago

  • Goes deep in loss
Bryant went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 13-7 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Bryant has gone 6-for-28 (.214) over eight games since he returned from a back injury. His homer Tuesday was his first extra-base hit in that span. The 32-year-old is slashing a meager .173/.303/.280 with two homers, nine RBI, four runs scored and two doubles over 21 contests this season. For now, it looks like Bryant and Elehuris Montero will share first base and designated hitter. Rotowire.com 23 minutes ago

  • Kevin Pillar goes 3-for-4, homers to propel Angels
Kevin Pillar went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer Tuesday in leading the Angels to a 4-3 win over the Yankees.

Advice: The White Sox releasing Pillar after a 4-for-25 start, only to watch him hit .431/.459/.759 with five homers in his first 17 games for the Angels, is undeniably the funniest thing to happen in 2024. There’s no reason to expect Pillar to keep this up — and we still wouldn’t recommend him in mixed leagues — but it’d be hilarious if he somehow pulled off a career year at age 35. • Three hits in win
Manzardo went 3-for-5 with two doubles, one RBI and one run scored in Tuesday's 13-7 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Manzardo has hit safely in eight of his last nine games, and he has an extra-base hit in six of those contests. The top prospect is at a .236/.276/.382 slash line with no home runs, four RBI, four runs scored and eight doubles over 58 plate appearances. He's had some struggles adjusting to major-league pitching with a 2:17 BB:K over his first 18 games. Manzardo may be running out of time to make an impression, as the Guardians will need to make a corresponding move to activate Steven Kwan (hamstring) from the injured list later in the week. • Fills stat sheet in win
Fry went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run, a stolen base and three total runs scored in Tuesday's 13-7 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Fry has a pair of three-hits games over his last nine contests, going 13-for-26 (.500) with four homers, three steals and 11 RBI in that span. The utility man is on another level lately, though he's been strong throughout the campaign with a .357/.492/.622 slash line, seven homers, 23 RBI, 26 runs scored and four steals over 128 plate appearances. He's started three straight games in left field, but that avenue into the lineup will close when Steven Kwan (hamstring) returns from the injured list. Fry could compete for playing time with Kyle Manzardo at designated hitter or Bo Naylor at catcher given both of those players' struggles at the plate. Rotowire.com 55 minutes ago

  • Crosses plate four times
Ramirez went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, two walks and four total runs scored in Tuesday's 13-7 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Ramirez has five multi-hit efforts, five homers and 15 RBI over his last seven contests. He opened the scoring in the first inning with his team-leading 16th homer of the campaign. The third baseman has added a major-league-best 56 RBI with 41 runs scored, eight stolen bases and a .272/.328/.558 slash line over 54 games this season. Ramirez was hatting as low as .227 with a .667 OPS on May 4, but he's powered up in a big way over the course of this month. Rotowire.com Today, 9:52 pm

  • Josh Naylor homers twice, drives in five in win
Josh Naylor hit two homers to drive in five runs and lead the Guardians to a 13-7 win over the Rockies on Tuesday.

Advice: We’ve liked Naylor as a sleeper pick to lead the AL in RBI, but José Ramírez, batting one spot ahead of him, just isn’t cooperating thus far; Ramírez leads the majors with 56, while Naylor is third in the AL with 40. We’re still not sure whether Naylor has really gotten hot yet. On the one hand, his 15 homers in 52 games are just two fewer than he hit in 121 games last season. On the other, his .234 average is down 74 points from last year’s .308 mark. Rotoworld Today, 9:49 pm

  • David Fry goes 3-for-3, hits three-run homer
David Fry went 3-for-3 and hit a three-run homer Tuesday against the Rockies.

Advice: Fry wasn’t expected to make the Guardians out of spring training and then wasn’t slated to play against righties once he did make the team, but all he’s done so far is hit .357/.492/.622 with seven homers and four steals in 128 plate appearances. The exit velocity numbers don’t back up anything close to this level of performance, but he’ll probably remain pretty solid and he has catcher eligibility. Rotoworld Today, 9:49 pm
