      Advice: Duran stole home, his first steal in 15 games, and leads Boston with 12 thefts. He also leads the team with 39 runs. The outfielder has been hot to start the month of June, going 10-for-26 (.385) with one double, one triple, two home runs, four RBI and seven runs scored over the last six games.       Advice: The 22-year-old also struck out twice, and his 31.7 percent strikeout rate on the season has caught up with him -- De La Cruz is slashing .205/.286/.318 since the beginning of May with only three homers in 34 games. He continues to do damage when he is able to get on base however, and De La Cruz's 33 steals on the season leads the league by a healthy margin, as the Brewers' Brice Turang sits in second place with 22.       Steele (0-3) took the loss Friday, giving up three runs on five hits and a walk over seven innings as the Cubs were downed 3-2 by the Reds. He struck out seven.

      Advice: The southpaw pitched well in his second quality start of the season, generating 30 called or swinging strikes among his 90 pitches, but a lack of run support kept him out of the win column once again. Steele appears to be rounding into form after missing all of April with a hamstring strain, and over his last three starts he sports a 1.89 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 20:6 K:BB through 19 innings. The 29-year-old righty has been phenomenal of late, allowing three earned runs or fewer in six of his last seven starts since May 4. He’ll carry a sharp 3.58 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 83/32 K/BB ratio across 78 innings (14 appearances, 13 starts) into an extremely favorable matchup on Wednesday afternoon against the rebuilding Athletics.       Advice: King wasn't all that efficient, needing 98 pitches (63 strikes) to get through five games, but that's the only knock on his performance. He's been excellent over his last three starts, allowing just two runs on 11 hits and four walks with 16 strikeouts over his last 17 innings. King is at a 3.58 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 83:32 K:BB through 78 innings across 14 appearances (13 starts).
