After going eight games without a steal, the 22-year-old has now swiped a bag in three consecutive contests and continues to lead the league in the category. Duran has been nothing short of spectacular in June with a .366/.420/.594 slash, and he’s now up to eight homers and 38 RBI to go along with his 20 stolen bases across the 2024 campaign.       Michael King held the Red Sox to one run over six innings with six strikeouts while picking up a win Saturday.

      Advice: King didn’t have to be at his best with Tanner Houck faltering, but he was pretty close to it, anyway. The right-hander gave up a solo homer to Jarren Duran, and that was it in terms of scoring blemishes. King has been fairly up-and-down in his first year with the Padres, but there have been enough quality starts like this one to keep the optimism going.
