      Advice: De La Cruz’s hits all left his bat at over 102 mph. He’s batting .252/.306/.427 for the season, which is certainly good enough to keep him in the Marlins lineup but isn’t great for someone who has turned out to be a pretty bad left fielder (he’s currently DHing about two-thirds of the time).       Justin Steele dropped to 0-3 after allowing three runs in seven innings Friday against the Reds.

      Advice: Two of the runs scored in the fourth after Steele had Elly De La Cruz picked off first base, only for Cruz to reach second because of errant throw from Michael Busch.       Advice: Tucker has been held out of action since he fouled a ball off his right shin during Monday's game against the Cardinals. Manager Joe Espada said Friday that Tucker is feeling much better since then, per Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle, though the outfielder's recovery has progressed much slower than the team initially expected.
