• Nursing ankle issue
Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Abreu twisted his right ankle in the dugout during Sunday's loss to the Tigers and is receiving treatment, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

Advice: The 24-year-old went 1-for-4 with a run scored before he suffered the injury and was replaced by a pinch hitter during the ninth inning. Abreu will have Monday's team off day to aid in his recovery before the start of a two-game series versus Atlanta on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Today, 2:17 pm

  • Davis Schneider with two more hits
Davis Schneider went 2-for-4 with a double, run scored, and RBI on Sunday against the Pirates.

Advice: Schneider came around to score on Daniel Vogelbach’s go-ahead, two-run double and seems to be in the middle of most Blue Jays rallies at this point. Their lineup has found more life since anointing him their permanent lead-off hitter and it would be shocking to see him out of that role any time soon. Rotoworld Today, 2:12 pm

  • Demotion could be coming
Julien had a meeting with manager Rocco Baldelli and subsequently met with teammates after Sunday's win over the Astros, which could indicate the second baseman is headed to Triple-A St. Paul as Royce Lewis (quadriceps) is set to return from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Dan Hayes of The Athleticreports.

Advice: Julien hit out of the No. 9 hole Sunday and went 0-for-2 with a walk, which dropped his season slash line to .207/.309/.367 through 58 games. The 25-year-old has a 34 percent strikeout rate this year, and the return of Lewis provides an opportunity for Julien to get back on track in a lower-pressure environment. The Twins have yet to make an official announcement regarding Lewis and who he'll replace on the MLB roster. Rotowire.com Today, 2:12 pm

  • Oneil Cruz with two hits, scores twice
Oneil Cruz went 2-for-5 with a double and two runs scored against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Advice: Each of Cruz’s hits were blistered - the first a single at 117.2 MPH off the bat and then later a 111.8 MPH double. While falling into a platoon and striking out too often, getting a glimpse of his gaudy tools reminds us a hot streak may always be right around the corner for Cruz. Rotoworld Today, 2:11 pm

  • Wenceel Pérez collects three hits in Tigers’ win
Wenceel Pérez finished 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored Sunday as the Tigers topped the Red Sox 8-4 in 10 innings.

Advice: The second run came as the automatic runner in the 10th. Each time it’s looked like Pérez’s hot start to his big-league career might be coming to a conclusion, he bounces back with something like this. The 24-year-old had gone 6-for-40 with one RBI in his previous 10 games. Rotoworld Today, 2:07 pm

  • Rafael Devers homers, triples, walks versus Tigers
Rafael Devers homered, tripled and walked Sunday in a loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Devers has done his best work this season batting second, and the Red Sox might have won today had they had him in that spot behind Jarren Duran, who was on base four times. Instead, they had him batting fourth behind Dominic Smith of all people. Devers did drive in Smith with the triple, but the homer was a solo shot. It was his first game with multiple extra-base hits since he doubled twice on May 3. Rotoworld Today, 2:07 pm

  • Leaves Sunday's game
Isbel was removed from Sunday's win against the Padres with a non-concussive head/neck injury.

Advice: The 27-year-old took a knee to the head as he collided with shortstop Bobby Witt in the outfield, per Anne Rogers of MLB.com, and Isbel exited in the sixth inning after initially staying in the contest. He'll have Monday's team off day to aid in his recovery ahead of Tuesday's series opener in Cleveland. Rotowire.com Today, 2:06 pm

  • Jackson Chourio has HR, three RBI in win
Jackson Chourio went 2-for-4 with a home run on three RBI in a 6-3 win over the White Sox on Sunday.

Advice: Chourio got the Brewers on the board in the second inning by socking a three-run home run 385 feet at 102.5 mph off the bat. It was his sixth home run of the season, and he now has 19 RBI on the year. Chourio has an elevated strikeout rate which has helped keep his batting average down, but he has shown a fantasy-friendly profile with the six home runs and seven steals. It may not fully click this year for the 20-year-old, but the future is certainly bright. Rotoworld Today, 2:05 pm

  • Paul DeJong homers in loss to Brewers
Paul DeJong went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in a loss to the Brewers.

Advice: DeJong now has nine home runs on the season, which includes six of the last 23 games. His batting average remains low, and he can thank his 35 percent strikeout rate for that, but he’s also barreling the ball well and providing a decent amount of power which makes him a solid middle infield option in deeper fantasy leagues.
